The filters go by the gallons size of the tank. This filter fits Whisper Power Filters 10i, E, J, 10 and MicroFilter.
Can you open the top clamp to add other filter media and than reseal?

The Bio-Bags are not intended to be opened and refilled. It is advisable to replace Bio-Bags when they are clogged.
