The aquarium is made of a high quality plastic, but I love it for that, it’s heavy, and big enough for my little turtle. I purchased an extra filter and a heater, also by tetra, not sure if the heater is working, we’ll see. I updated the bulb for one of 100V for turtles, UV, and raise the platform by 3 inches using plastic dividers from another company. I have some infrared red light bulbs, not the one coming in the kit, that is not marked, but for new turtle parents, I recommend to have some different UV bulbs from different brands and diverse wattages. I will install the second lamp tomorrow with the infrared bulb. The cascade is beautiful, but just in case I added the second filter. Rocks used in my tank setup are sold by chewy, in a bag of 10lbs, and used two of them. I believe my Tuti is happy. I just love the kit, which comes fast from Texas to Miami. I Highly recommend it.

The kit has everything I needed, the turtle absolutely loves it, it looks aesthetic, it occupies almost the same space my 10 gallon tank did. And as expected the turtle quickly lost interest in eating the plants but uses them as a hiding spot, sadly we kinda lost one of the decorations between making space and moving a few things but it was there at the beggining. So, I had a little trouble with the wire for the filter because it doesn't mention anything in any of the papers, boxers or here on the site. But it has two spaces with little indentations for wires in the plastic inner corner of the tank, it can be easily cut with a carboard cutter and it keeps the wire safe from getting pinched by the lid. On top of that the lid has the option for a lock, which I don't particularly need but is pretty cool. Besides the lid fitting safely when closed. The lightbulbs are perfect, the length of the cables is great and the switches are on the perfect place to turn them off easily.

My turtle's home

So far my turtle is happy with his new home. It has enough space for him to swim and with the heating lamp it makes it more comfortable to be more time under water

I love my new tank for my baby turtle. I do wish the filter was stronger because after a day in a half I had to clean out the tank already. The big filter rock could of been somewhat smaller. I also had to buy a heater because the heat lamp doesn't warm the water. I also just purchased a suction cleaner to keep the tank clean. Another thing that Im doing is not feeding my turtle in the tank to keep from having to clean in just a few days. I take him out and put him in his little habitat for his feedings. Overall the tank is great and my buddy loves it
