how do you known it's working ?
Answer by • Dec 07, 2019
The indicator light will turn on when the heating element is actively heating. A thermometer should be kept on the tank and should be checked at least once a day.
If the water warm already will the red light come on my thermoset says 89.8F will the light still come on?
Answer by • Aug 04, 2020
The red light will turn on and off as needed to gradually warm the tank. If the water temperature is already warm enough, the light and heater will not turn on. As a precaution, we always recommend using an aquarium thermometer to gauge the temperature of the water and ensure it is being heated correctly.
