9 Customer Questions
Can dogs hear it?
Answer by • Feb 26, 2025
The device emits ultrasonic pulses that are imperceptible to people, dogs, and cats.
Will rain stop it from working?
Answer by • Feb 27, 2025
The devices are water-resistant (IP31), which means they can withstand a few drops of rain but are not waterproof. Submerging the device in water, such as in a lake, sea, or mud, could cause damage. If your Tickless device has been exposed to rain but not submerged, it should still function properly. However, prolonged exposure to moisture or heavy rain might affect its performance over time.
What does the button do on the tag?
Answer by • Mar 31, 2025
The button on the Tickless Pet tag is used to check the device’s operation. Once activated, the tag works continuously and cannot be turned off. When you press the button, the device will flash four green lights, indicating it is functioning properly and emitting ultrasonic pulses. After the initial activation, the light will not stay on, but you can press the button anytime to verify it's still working.
This simple indicator allows users to ensure the device is operational and providing ongoing protection.
