Why does the 2- 20lb jugs cost more than the singular 40lb bag of the same cat litter?

how often do I put all new litter in box if using same brand

Scoop away waste daily. Change the litter completely and wipe the box down with soap and water once every other week or so to keep things fresh. Keep enough litter in the box so your cat can dig a little, around 2-3 inches for non-clumping litter and 3-4 inches for clumping litter.

This stuff is horrible!!

I've been using Tidy Cats for I don't even know how long, (mainly the unscented one, but will use the scented varieties every now and then). This specific formula

I've been using Tidy Cats for I don't even know how long, (mainly the unscented one, but will use the scented varieties every now and then). This specific formula is TRASH. I stopped using Fresh Step because of the dust but this is probably dustier than that. It has no clumping power and the odor control is minimal at best. My little free-loaders had wild vet bills last month (over $2,000; the cat distribution system did me dirty, but they are cute sooo, lol) and this was like $3 cheaper a bag than the others. I needed multiple bags, so that $3/bag was nice savings. Now I understand the price difference. Crazy how one product in a line-up from the same company can be so poor when the other ones (that I've tried) are fine. I still like Tidy Cats in general, just not this.

I thought I'd get this refill to save some money and plastic. I must have misread because I thought it was a 40lb refill. Not saving any money on this and it is more difficult to move to the litter boxes and into the pail. The pail is easier for me to pick up because I'm disabled. Probably not going to buy this again. The litter itself is just like the one in the pail. No difference in performance.

This stuff is so good. I’m very particular about litter. It is low dust, extremely tightly clumping, and odor controlling. It might track outside the box but a nice litter mat fixes that. For your money the large bags are the most worth it, I’ve tried other brands but they just either STANK or they are too expensive. I really want to love alternatives to clay but there so far aren’t any that compare.

I was buying cheaper litter that is too Dusty. There's dust all over my laundry room and one of my cats actually got asthma now and it could be from that Dusty letter

I was buying cheaper litter that is too Dusty. There's dust all over my laundry room and one of my cats actually got asthma now and it could be from that Dusty letter. The tidy cats is pretty much just free so I like it. It also clumps very well. I have one large little pan for two cats. I tried using two litter pans but they keep using the same one. I clean it frequently and it is easy to keep clean. Thank you for this good product at a reasonable cost.

she won't use a lot of litters, but the clumping type like this she will. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the bags I bought are leaking the litter

she won't use a lot of litters, but the clumping type like this she will. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the bags I bought are leaking the litter out all over. Not Tidy Cat's fault though, that is due to rough handling in shipping I do believe. They were in a box, but both have small leaks where the litter is leaking out of the bottom of the bags, so I am not sure if it is the shipping or the way Tidy Cat packaged it. Both just a small rip or something on the bottom that leaves a trail if you move them and leaked all over the boxes they came in.

Just one fall back King Louie is long haired so when he goes peepee it does stick to his fur but I brush it off and also shave some of his hair so it's all good
