Scoop away waste daily. Change the litter completely and wipe the box down with soap and water once every other week or so to keep things fresh. Keep enough litter in the box so your cat can dig a little, around 2-3 inches for non-clumping litter and 3-4 inches for clumping litter.

The amount of litter needed will vary on the size of the litter box and how much you use. In general, it's recommended to have a litter base about 2-3 inches deep.

Tidy Cat litter

I was buying cheaper litter that is too Dusty. There's dust all over my laundry room and one of my cats actually got asthma now and it could be from that Dusty letter

I was buying cheaper litter that is too Dusty. There's dust all over my laundry room and one of my cats actually got asthma now and it could be from that Dusty letter. The tidy cats is pretty much just free so I like it. It also clumps very well. I have one large little pan for two cats. I tried using two litter pans but they keep using the same one. I clean it frequently and it is easy to keep clean. Thank you for this good product at a reasonable cost.

she won't use a lot of litters, but the clumping type like this she will. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the bags I bought are leaking the litter

she won't use a lot of litters, but the clumping type like this she will. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the bags I bought are leaking the litter out all over. Not Tidy Cat's fault though, that is due to rough handling in shipping I do believe. They were in a box, but both have small leaks where the litter is leaking out of the bottom of the bags, so I am not sure if it is the shipping or the way Tidy Cat packaged it. Both just a small rip or something on the bottom that leaves a trail if you move them and leaked all over the boxes they came in.

I have tried every litter on the market including store brands, pretty kitty, crystals etc. etc. This is best by far the best litter low dust, low odor, clumps well. Just one fall back King Louie is long haired so when he goes peepee it does stick to his fur but I brush it off and also shave some of his hair so it's all good

I have used this product for over twenty years and have loved it. It's always a great odor control low dust. Something has changed! Within a week of pouring it in

The room is encrusted in dust!!! We have 3 cats and I scoop the boxes at least 3 times a day. And the dust is unreal. What is all that dust doing to my poor cat's lungs?

Great product- packaging was literally a bust

This is a great product we have used for years- my first time ordering it for delivery. I don’t know what kind of packaging I was expecting and can certainly appreciate

This is a great product we have used for years- my first time ordering it for delivery. I don’t know what kind of packaging I was expecting and can certainly appreciate a “less is more” approach for sustainability, but we had an order with a bunch of dog toys and treats plus this litter- I didn’t expect the bag of litter to just be in the box loose with no packing and nothing to protect my other items. The bag burst which created a mess of course, but also crusted our new dog toys with cat litter. I’ll just keep buying this on my own!

Is your warehouse intentionally damaging packages?

The bottom of the litter pail is cracked, so a bunch of the litter is loose in the shipping box. If this was a one off situation I would not worry about it, but

If this was a one off situation I would not worry about it, but time and time again the past 6-9 months items are damaged when we get them. This isn't the first time we received a damaged litter pail either. I used to love ordering through Chewy for a variety of reasons, but what has changed with your packaging / warehouse operations? I may have to start going back to the pet stores to buy things for our pets.
