  • Not what I expected

    By on

This product was about one-third water, which naturally spilled all over when I opened the first can. The food was on the skimpy side, although the cats seemed to like it alright. There was a bit left over when normally they pretty much clean their bowls. So I'm not sure it was a hit. Considering the cost I won't be purchasing this brand again.

  • Tiki cat, what are you doing?!

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

My cats and I were horrified to learn that Tiki Cat had obviously lost their mind and done away with the Gourmet Carnivore line that my babies love. without their loved flavors, we tried to give their new line "After Dark" a try. I can only speculate that the same person came up with this line as the one who thought it was smart to discontinue their Gourmet Carnivore line. I had lots of turned up noses to this, even though it has pork hidden in it. It is a lot of organs and not a lot of meat. It looks nasty and smells nasty. And there isn't even much in the can. what a let down.

  • I can't believe this is Tiki Cat.

    By on

I knew immediately after opening the can that my cats weren't going to be happy. This food has that highly processed, cheap cat food odor that my cats hate. I wasn't at all surprised when they sniffed it and looked at me like I'd lost my mind. My most adventurous cat give it a couple of half-hearted licks before rejecting it outright. I'm extremely disappointed in Tiki Cat for trying to pass off food that's obviously not up to their usual standards as something worthy of a premium price.

  • Not sure what everyone is talking about

    By on

My cats love Tiki's new chicken and pork. My only complaint is that I'd prefer there to be a little less broth and a little more meat. Either way, they lap up every drop of juice and eat every piece of shredded meat.

  • Just a matter of taste

    By on

My gang usually loves anything with pork in it so I thought they would scarf this down. Much to my surprise they didn't. I think if this food were just slightly ground up they would like it better. That's the signal I'm getting from them. They eat it, it's just not their first choice.

  • They love love love the juice!

    By on Top 25 Contributor

My 4 cats immediately started devouring the juice - of which there is a LOT in the 5.5 oz can. They also ate some of the meat - but not all. It looks very nice and shredded finely. Time will tell if this is a keeper or not.

My cat loves it. I laughed listening to him do the kitty growl while eating.
