Tiki Cat After Dark Wild Pate

Tiki Cat After Dark Wild Pate is a line of complete and balanced meals that closely mimic a cat’s natural prey diet. Now with unique proteins like rabbit, duck and venison and nutrient-dense organ meat, they’ll satisfy your cat’s carnivore cravings.

The Hunt Is Over

Cats know the best hunting happens After Dark. As obligate carnivores, cats crave protein. These unique and flavorful recipes are packed with real meat to provide the high-protein, grain-free nutrition cats need to thrive.

Mimics a Cat's Natural Prey Diet

When cats ancestors hunted for prey, the first parts they would consume were the organs. Today, organ meats like liver, gizzard and heart are still feline favorites, so After Dark recipes include them to satisfy those wild cravings.

Packed with Nutrient-Dense Organ Meats

Organ meats are excellent sources of protein and loaded with important vitamins, minerals, and amino acids—plus, they’re super tasty, too. Easy-to-eat and full of moisture from a rich, meaty broth, these pâtes will satisfy even the pickiest cats.

My cat is 17 years old and has a few health concerns. This was recommended to me to help with some of his health concerns. Merlin is also ultra picky and has a sensitive stomach. This variety pack allowed me to try a number of options to see what he will eat and tolerate. Major win: he tolerated all of them. He had two clear favorites which have now been ordered. Great product and definitely is a win for my household.

This “assortment” was a big disappointment, almost all the cans were the beef flavor which my cats were not fans of. I was unable to have all 3 of my cats try the other flavors as there were only maybe 4 cans in this whole assortment that weren’t beef. Wouldn’t purchase again.

I've been cycling through a myriad of wet food brands recently trying to find a cat food that I like the ingredients/nutritional content of, and my boys like the taste of. And when I tell you, this one hit it out of the park with them!! My cat children are not overly picky (gluttony wins out over taste most times aha), but they definitely let me know if they are not really feeling a certain food by the way they eat it. This stuff, I mean, they went absolutely crazy. The second I cracked the can open they both were repeatedly scrambling and leaping onto the kitchen counter like wild monkeys to get into it, even my beloved three legged son, who normally doesn't even attempt to jump on anything taller than the couch. I was literally fighting them off just to get the food in the bowl!! Once I had it down, they inhaled the stuff in about 30 seconds flat, and then were back up on the counter to lick every last scrap out of the can before I could even get to it to wash it out and recycle. It was like a scene out of Jurassic Park, they were absolutely feral for this stuff. We've tried other textures of the tiki cat wet food in the past and they did quite like those as well, but this was a reaction I have never seen out of them before. With a response like that, I think we've found their new food!!

Normally when one buys a variety pack of pet food, it's an equal amount of each flavor.... not with this pack! Two of the flavors have three cans, two flavors have two cans, and two flavors only include a single can. Could I have double checked the flavor count in the listing? Absolutely, but who actually does that? Who even thinks that they need to check that? The only plus is that I discovered the issue before my elderly cat fell in love with one of the single flavor cans when I only had ONE in the brand new box. So kids, learn from me, double check the count on each flavor when you buy Tiki... or be prepared for disappointment.

Just the real food my cats need.

Research told me that both my cats - the 18 year old and the 6 month old - need the meats and organ meats that are the true diet for cats.

I love the idea of giving my cats a variety of different animal meats and organs (excluding fish). I've been doing my best to replicate their natural diet. This set has a great variety and does just that. If only my cats were not so picky! They seem to only somewhat like one or two flavors. Which isn't this brand's fault. My babies just love their chicken! Regardless, I still gave this 5 stars. In comparison to a lot of cheaper pates on the market. I can see the difference in quality and why this tends to be higher in price. If you can afford it, and your cats like them. It's definitely worth it.

While they ate some of it, it seemed that their stomachs were a little unsettled by it because they walked away from the rest of their food that they normally eat, and they didn’t touch it again, and that was with all of the pate flavors that came in the variety pack I have a feeling there is an ingredient in it that just didn’t cut it for them.
