My cat hates it.
The pouches are awful! First, you can't get all the food out. It's awkward to try and scrape the food out, and lots of food gets wasted because it is stuck in the pouch nooks and crannies. Plus, they're difficult to open, so my kids can't feed the cat. And, once the pouch is open, there is no way to reseal it to save some for later. But the biggest problem to this food is my cat hates it. He's not a picky cat, he's eaten every other wet food we've bought him, and he usually LOVES Tiki Cat, but he does not like this stuff.
Great quality and variety of cat food! Terrible packaging!
We have a 17 1/2 year old cat who, as he's aged, has become pickier and pickier regarding his food preference. He also has dropped weight and so the need to find something he loves is becoming more important and a huge headache at times! Normally he chooses fish over other proteins, but when the chicken variety packets were on sale we decided to try these. To our amazement he LOVES the chicken variety packs and has been licking the bowl clean. The quality of Tiki Cat's wet food is great and the variety packs are fantastic, but it's also awesome to be able to buy it in much bigger cans than other brands offer! The only reason why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because of what a huge pain the packets are! Cans bring their own set of issues , ie: the lip of cans leaves food behind and tears up the spoons we use...*but* these packets have given me a newfound respect for cans. It frustrates me because it's hard to store the packets without causing a mess in the fridge. Also 2.5 oz is a very small amount of food (a few tablespoons) and because of the packet design it's impossible to scrap it clean, meaning quite a bit goes to waste with each packet. Live and learn...but we definitely learned to only buying cans in the future! It's also more friendly to the environment to use cans as the cans can be recycled!
Great for picky eaters
My cat is the type to pick around food and not eat much of it. I've been trying for years to find a wet food that both she and I love and this is it. She doesn't even like the regular canned Tiki wet food (I've tried them all) but this was a big hit. Especially if you get the broth packages to add on top
GREAT PRODUCT
I wasn't so sure about this brand at first. It is a bit pricey but my regular brand was very hard to find. My cats LOVE this! And it truly is made from chicken! Read the ingredients! It actually even SMELLS like chicken. I am not so much a fan of the pouch yet I have gotten used to it. Their fur has gotten so shiny and soft! So even though it is pricey, I will continue to purchase this for my babies! Well worth the price!
Superior quality
My cat really likes these chicken and pumpkin blends. As always, Tiki Cat comes through with excellent quality food for our fur family.
My Cats Will No Longer Touch Their Dry Food!
I introduced this wet food a few days ago and my cats meow like crazy for it. As soon as they see me with the pouch they hover around me. To be fair they love wet food in general. I love to add goats milk, broth, supplements, and kibble into this, but they always devour the wet food leaving mostly the dry food out. After trying this, they won't touch dry food alone anymore. I also think the packaging is so cute. You do need a utensil though to scrape out all the bits in the pouch as just squeezing won't work. Nonetheless, I will be purchasing more.

My cat is trying to come off prescription food and I selected the tiki as a replacement. He’s not very fond of it after the third pouch I decided to give it a rest and put him back on the prescription diet temporarily. I love the packaging is so convenient so easy to serve and so easy to dispose of the ingredients are superb. Can’t say enough good things about it just wish the cat liked it better.
Not what we thought
Our cats love the Tiki Cat Aloha Friends tuna varieties with pumpkin in cans, so we tried these. These smell HORRIBLE (like, gag reflex inducing), and our cats weren't a fan of them. They also come in super inconvenient pouches, and it took much longer to get all the product out versus the cans. We don't recommend.
Nothing wrong with these
Just not a hit with peanut - I think it’s the food texture - it’s like a thick looking gravy with like ground beef looking meat - I thought I’d try something new but he likes them shreds - don’t get me wrong I love tiki cats I buy their after dark shredded 247 it’s the bomb for peanuts IBS and he loves it
Still testing
My cat loves the earlier versions of Tiki Cat that I have purchased. This is a test for the ultimate finicky cat. I am serving about a half packet at a time, with added low sodium chicken broth. It seems to be acceptable so far, more flavors to try. 4 Stars are only because it is not entirely tested.
