Starting feeding this to 4 week old abandoned kittens. One of them ended up passing awaying, the other got really sick. Both had horrible diarrhea and showed signs of vitamin deficiencies. According to our vet, neither kitten had parasites, their stool had large amounts of fat in it. The kittens were unable to break down the food and absorb the nutrients. I switched the surviving kitten to royal canin and she is thriving!! While this food is marketed for very small kittens it is NOT a good choice for them.

Luna is only 3 months old and she already knows she does not enjoy straight up hard meat, but this being just a paste of chicken was unironically perfect for both of us because when I added water, it became a stew, and I could add her food toppings on there!

Kittens love it!

Both my kittens absolutely love Tiki Cat! It is a bit pricey because it is on the lower calorie side, but I supplement it with their dry food (easier on the wallet)

It is really unfortunate that is product adertises itself as a pate, but in fact is just a finely chopped meat. Older cats with no teeth, or those used to real pates, cannot eat this. My cats just lick the top gravy (which they like) but then have to abandone it. I tried "making it into a pate" by putting the content through a blender, but no can do. It needs a milling stone/steel grinder to break down the texture. I am so disappointed.

He’s not a fan

This may be a favorite of the babies, but my old man doesn’t like it. Will donate 11 cans. BTW, I found the consistency more like stew, definitely not pate.

I purchased this tiki cat wet kitten food based on the positive reviews but my 8 week old rescued kittens will not eat it. I think it looks & smells good but they won’t touch it. They might drink a tiny bit of the broth but they won’t eat the chicken pate. Wasted my $$$. Moving on to try something else.
