Our picky cat is very pleased

Mocha is super happy with this food and it seems to be filling, so she eats less on days we give this to her (which is great because she begs like crazy). I do wish it was less expensive per oz but the rest of our cats are on cheaper food and doing fine so it's manageable. She is often very gassy and hairball-y for reasons we and the vet haven't been able to figure out, but she's pretty okay on this food! I would need to set aside a lot of money to keep her on a substantial-length food trial where this is her ONLY food for over a month though, no supplementations, and have not yet been able to do so.

Kitty licks the plate clean when we serve this tuna "gelee". I took off a star because it is aggravating not knowing the ash and magnesium content. I have one cat with a history of urinary crystals, and a member of our household just loves to spoil him with people food. I worry that our treats from the table will trigger the problem with urinary crystals to flare up again. (He's been symptom free for over 5 years now.) So instead of slipping him shrimp or honey roasted turkey lunch meat, we've been giving him Tiki Cat Gelee. Baby scarfs it up! Still, I wish I knew how far outside the lines we were straying. If I knew it was safe, I would give him this stuff every day. Before you start to fuss with me, I should tell you that my cat's PRIMARY diet is the prescription stuff.

I’ve tried a lot of different wet foods for my picky eaters, and Tiki Cat Tuna Gelee is one of the few that consistently disappears from the bowl! The first thing I noticed was the smell — it actually smells like real tuna, not that overly processed cat food scent. The gelee texture is different from typical gravy-based foods, but my cats absolutely love it. It’s soft, moist, and easy for them to eat! What really gives me peace of mind is the ingredient list. It’s grain-free, high in protein, and doesn’t contain any questionable fillers or artificial additives. Plus, the moisture content is great for keeping them hydrated. I appreciate that Tiki Cat seems to prioritize quality — real fish is the first ingredient, and you can tell from the appearance and aroma that it’s a step above many other brands.

Cat seemed to enjoy it. At first she was a little leary but then she ate it all after she had privacy. It doesn't have a strong odor even though fish. It looks the same high quality as human grade and it is a nice gel. The quanity in one package seems to be enough for a meal. Second time we served it, she ate it faster and seemed to enjoy it more.

Scout really liked this food! It comes in easy open pouches. I like the ingredients and knowing that Scout is getting quality nutrition. When I first opened it, I was surprised at how the gel was holding the food together, but my cat went straight to licking it and trying to eat it while I separated it with a fork. Scout has been known to be picky about her soft food so this was a pleasant surprise. If your cat loves chunkier food give it a try!

No, I didn't sample this myself, but it reminds me of those foil tuna packets sold in the grocery store. I have an "antique" kitty (20 years old) as well as 2 senior kitties. All three of our kitties love Tiki Cat Gelee Tuna. When Kiddle enjoys a snack we take note. That she gobbled up the whole packet of Tiki Cat Gelee Tuna, well that was cause for a victory dance! The packets are a convenient size, and they are easy to open. If you are dealing with a kitty that just noshes along several times a day as we are, you can just squeeze out a tad for a sample. We then store the remainder in the fridge with a clip. What you get looks and smells exactly like human grade tuna packed in a kind of aspic. We are on the lazy side, and to keep our kitty from glutting herself and eating the whole thing too fast, we serve our kitties small portions on little dessert size paper plates. (She prefers to eat off flat surfaces so her whiskers don't touch the sides of a bowl.) Kiddle licks them clean and a couple of hours later, we reload with a fresh paper plate and more Tiki Cat. We will be re-ordering.
