The cats didn’t like it

Not worth the money. Actually not worth anything to us. None of the cats would eat any of it. I have 3 cases and I would like to return it.

Good senior food

My old cat had kidney failure and would only eat chicken. This food has limited ingredients and lower phosphorus and my picky old cat loved it. He wouldn't eat anything

First ingredient is chicken & there’s very few ingredients. Vitamins are added & it’s grain free. I wouldn’t say it’s a pate but more very minced but that’s ok since they can always use extra liquid. Overall I’d recommend this food since it’s very good quality.

My cats absolutely love Tiki Cat Silver Pate. I find it difficult to get the bowls down for them to eat because they are grabbing at my arms to put the bowl down quicker. It is easy for older cats to eat because it is a bit soupy with the chicken broth which also helps with hydration. I love that it is grain free, non-GMO and it is also low carb so it's great for diabetic kitties too.

Pete the Cat is a 10yo female (yes, Pete is a she) tortie with a finicky gastro system. I'm always cautious about changing food, as she is settled on Fancy Feast Gourmet Naturals Chicken. The initial serving of Tiki Cat was received hesitantly - she didn't finish the contents of the can, which was a bit surprising, since sister doesn't miss a meal! The texture was mushy - beyond pate type and almost had a "pre-chewed" look - and that may be why she walked away. I wasn't thrilled with the smell - it didn't hit me as "chicken" like an open can of Fancy Feast does. I don't like panning a product, but this wasn't a good fit for us; it may be better for a true senior cat who prefers super-soft.

The food came out of the can almost like a liquid instead of a more solid pate. They looked at it, but wouldn't eat it. Perhaps my cats are just not open to trying new things. I put the food outside for the neighbors cat who comes over to eat every day and he ate it all.
