This is a great product. I initially thought it was a cat treat, but it’s really “food”. For any senior cat who has trouble chewing or digesting, this has an exceptional amount in the pouch and great consistency with obvious hydration benefit! I wasn’t sure about the pumpkin in it for my little pumpkin, but Marty really likes it! (And I know how healthy pumpkin is.) He’s 17 and I realize this might be a lifesaver someday if he ever lacks enough hydration. And a lot of it doesn’t get stuck at the bottom of the pouch! Each pouch has a very generous portion, though for how much Marty weighs, he would need several pouches a day, according to the instructions. Could also be given as an interactive “treat stick”.

The Einsteins in Chewy’s shipping department packed my 2 soft boxes of Tiki Cat, as well as tube of hairball remedy with a 40lb bag of LITTER. Hey, guess what - the litter crushed and pulverized the rest of my expensive order! I’ve complained to customer service about this before, and I’ve seen countless reviews of people making similar complaints. This is such an idiotic and disrespectful mistake. I’m furious. Now I remember why I’ve been ordering from Chewy less and less over the years.

I was eager to give my cats a healthy new option in their food. However, they weren’t interested in this food at all. I gave a pouch to my daughter that has three cats. She got the same results. So, five differ cats would not eat this. I can’t say if it was the flavor, smell of texture. I don’t recommend this product. I plan on giving the remainder of the product to my local animal shelter.

Taking away a star because personally I don’t love the pouch as a package — it’s hard to get all the pate out, and cannot be recycled. The case pack is super convenient but wish it were more environmentally friendly.

I had really high hopes for this mousse-style cat food, especially since my senior cat usually prefers softer textures. Unfortunately, this one just didn’t win him over. The consistency was smooth and easy to serve, and it seemed like a great option for older cats who need something gentle on their teeth. After just a few licks, he walked away and refused to touch it again. I still appreciate the idea and quality, but it just didn’t meet my expectations—or his.

I found that it is easier to squeeze it out of the pouch than spoon it out. I’ll randomly try giving it to him again. He’s a cat, so he might change his mind.

Well, TikiCat Silver Mousse was liked by 1 of my 3 cats. The texture is on par with what they usually like, and it has a bit of juice which mine usually love. The packaging is nice in that it’s large enough to split between two when you have light eaters, but is enough of a serving for the big chompy eaters! I’ll keep working to integrate it to my other 2 kitties, I believe they’ll like it too.
