For a boost of flavor, sprinkle on top of your cat’s food as a special treat. Intended for supplemental feeding only.
The best way to transition to a new food is to switch gradually over the course of 7-10 days. For example, make a mixture that contains 25% of the new food and 75% of the old food and feed that for three days. Then make it 50-50 for three more days, then 75% new food and 25% old food for three more days. If your cat seems comfortable with this progression, you can start feeding 100% new food. If at any time your pet starts vomiting, has loose stools, or appears constipated, slow the rate at which you are switching the food. If problems continue to occur, consult your veterinarian.
My cat can't eat chicken, which so many cat treats contain. The Tuna Tiki Cat treats do not. I am using it to train my cat to do tricks. First of all I call out "Treat". He comes running from wherever he is napping. Then we go through the repertoire. Sit up, lie down, paw. And so on. A little bit of the treat after every trick keeps us both entertained.
My cat doesn't like treats I do not know why. I tried this one because some times he smell tuna fish and ask for it and eat a little bit. For him, this was better than cat nip, toys, anything. He swallowed it in seconds and was desperate asking for more. If my cat loved this that much, I assume all cats will love it.
This time around, only one of my cats like it better than the other cat. Before they both really liked these but for some reason this time around only one and the one that does it not overly thrilled. Not sure if something changed with the flavor or ?? But all in all, I would try it again to see if they were just being fussier this time or not.
I have a senior cat with no teeth. He has a condition causing his body to reject them as foreign objects. To save his life we had his teeth pulled. My cat didn't care for this but yours might. Just turned his head up compared to others. It was more "liquidy" than other treats of the same kind.
Our cat needs fish oil in her diet to help with arthritis inflammation, but she isn't a big eater and doesn't appreciate when there's "too much" oil in her dinner. One-third of a Tiki Stix (stick?) mixed with oil is the perfect breakfast snack for her (clip the package and keep it in the fridge till next time to keep it fresh). We order all the Tiki Stix flavors so she has a wide variety in rotation. Love the quality of the entire Tiki line; great ingredients and something for every picky cat.
Great treat for my cat, he loves it. but dont' give your cat too much.. it gave my cat diarrhea so I only give him a little bit each day now
My cat is about 1 year old and the pickiest eater ever. She goes absolutely crazy for these! If you want your cat to love you more, buy these!!!
My cat loves these things! I make sure to always have a good supply of them. She makes the best faces when she eats them too!
Our cats love these as a treat. Tip-serve them in a shallow bowl so the cat can lap it up. Our cats love these. These are also great as an "appetizer" for finicky cats.
I was hoping my picky eater would like these and she totally does. I put a packet on top of her first meal of the day and she licks the bowl clean now. Definitely recommend if you're trying to encourage your kitty to eat more!
