Can these seeds be sprouted?

It is recommended that the seeds be served as Soak-and-Serve. They may sprout if soaked, but they are not guaranteed to sprout during soaking. Either way, the soaking enhances the nutrition of the seeds for the birds. The seeds can be fed dry to the birds as well. Soaking is not a requirement.

Hi, what is the shelf life of this product and once open does it need to be refrigerated?

This food should be stored in a cool, dry place. When re-hydrated, the leftovers can be kept in the refrigerator for 3 days.Rinse again before feeding. Every expiration date will be different for each bag, as different batches are constantly being produced. The expiration date will be stamped on the back of the bag.

I am trying to switch my Budgies to more of a pellet diet, as one has health issues caused from eating too much seed. I purchased this seed mix because it appears

I am trying to switch my Budgies to more of a pellet diet, as one has health issues caused from eating too much seed. I purchased this seed mix because it appears to be much healthier than the brand I used to use. I add a very small amount of this mix in with their pellets (also from Tops). Both Budgies like this seed. I may never get them completely on a seed free diet, but along with the pellets, CHOP, and birdie bread, I feel they are both getting a much healthier diet. I will continue ordering this mix.

not worth the $

I was so excited that TOPs had a seed blend, and was expecting top quality for the price. I wanted to use this to sprout seeds since it did not contain anything

I was so excited that TOPs had a seed blend, and was expecting top quality for the price. I wanted to use this to sprout seeds since it did not contain anything but seeds, but after a 4 days the seeds still haven't sprouted one bit. Sucks that i have wasted my money. :( there aren't enough verity of seeds also to feed this as a normal seed diet.
