    Horse Feed

    By Horsey10 on Oct 21, 2021

I found this feed when I couldn't get THRIVE in my area. This is a great second and have been using it for 5 + years. Extrusion is a process in which feed is cooked under high pressure with high temperatures for a short time. ... The steam process breaks down the feed structures to make the nutrients more available. This pre-digestion process can make feeds up to 30% to 40% more digestible than standard pellets or whole grains. This is how TOTAL EQUINE processes their feed. This is more soluliable and better than pellets IMHO.

    Great product

    By 4nelson28 on Jun 29, 2021

I love this product. My horse Nelson would get sever fly itch every year. So bad he had to get 20 zyrtec daily and he was still bad. I went through gallons of fly spray too. I put him on this feed and so far he has only had a very mild problem with fly itch. He gets a much lower dose of zyrtec now and he isn't itching at all. I've had him for ten years now and he always got the itch severely. He can't have steroids anymore so he suffered miserably. I will never be without Total Equine now. Happy horse and very happy owner.

This brought back my 19 yo throughbred mares dark bay coat back from being black of nutrition and her weight back. Chewy is expensive though as I get this from a local dealership for $20. But if you do t have access to a local dealership $32 dollars is still worth it test me!!!
