My dog is elderly and I have a really high bed. He no longer was using the stairs to get on and off the bed so I wanted to try a ramp. This one is too inclined and he slips on it. he’s literally climbing up it. no good poor guy still struggling.

We ordered this for our Brandi who is 75lbs and she is having trouble with one of her hind legs, just turned 10. This does not work for my husbands Kia Soul 22, the back door is not wide enough and she can't jump to well. He also did not like the steepness of it and the bottom not long enough.. So we have ordered a wooden step one here as they have over 162 reviews. On it's way, we got the white w/grey steps. Everyone here is so helpful.

The ramp fits right in the back floorboard of my car. It is easily placed for walking and easily slides right back onto the floor of the car. The rounded side is facing my dog, so no sharp edges are facing the dog. It is well-made of tough plastic and easy to handle. The non-skid surface provides great traction for the dog's feet, and is not abrasive. The price at Chewy.com is $30.00 less than the next-best price I found, for the same Trixie Ramp!
Can you teach old dogs new tricks??

Wonderful ramp only my Charlie Dog refuses to use it no matter what I do to entice him to walk the ramp. Since it is non-refundable I am stuck with it. Perhaps someday, I'll have a pet who appreciates it. Any suggestions on training old Charlie to go up and down. He's a lousy eater to can't really tempt him with treats other than Chewy's Charlie Bear Treats.

Took about 2 days for my teacup puppy to figure it out. Had to take my box spring off to make the bed low enough so the ramp wasn't so steep. The quality and sturdiness is great.

The ramp is helping her get into and out of cars. She is 9 and doesn't want to jump any longer.

This is a well made product for a good price. Just not sure how it will work with my CRV car door.
good ramp so far for my 14 year old dog

I got this ramp for my 14 year old beagle/corgi mix who cannot do more than 1 step. While I am still training her on using the ramp, the ramp seems like quality material. There is a pretty good non-skid finish where the dog walks, to me it almost feels like sandpaper, but it doesn't seem to hurt the paws. It does easily scratch up though from their claws. I wish this ramp came longer. This should only be used on 1-2 steps otherwise the incline is quite steep.

Item came in a severely damaged box, it was ripped and looked like this had been an item that was already returned. The item was so dirty when I opened it out of the box and has this huge scratch
Sturdy material, but not usable for us

I think for the right vehicle and the right dog, this is the best ramp you could find. It’s not flimsy, and no chance of buckling like the folding types. But I have an Accord touring sedan, and this doesn’t fit in the back doors. It does in the front. Either way, my 8 year old 65lb pit mix does not like it. I tried to get him used to this on the bottom stair in the house because it was less of a steep incline, but he wanted nothing to do with it, stepped off the side, and it tilted and he fell. We have steps for him to get on the bed, so I should have thought it through better before buying this. The material on top is also like sandpaper, doesn’t seem very nice for paws. Carpet would be better. And the part that rests on the car is just thick plastic, if I could actually use this, I would have had to add something to prevent it from scratching my car. Overall, it’s probably the most sturdy of the ramps I could find online, but it could be improved. Going to buy a shorter version of the stairs he’s already using next.… more
