We added this to the cage and the hamsters have loved playing on it and snuggling on it during the day.

hammock review

Much smaller and flimsier than expected. Clips are short so it doesn't hang much so the bridge isn't usable. Not enough space to properly use, but cute concept

Small, but fine

A bit smaller than expected, but my rats enjoy it. They shredded the attached chewing block fairly quickly. If only the hanging clips were longer.

My girls love this

I bought this in preparation for getting my three new baby mice who I eventually introduced to my original two mice, and all five of them love this thing. I separated the ladder from the hammock and have the hanging separately and they’re constantly using them. Most of them spend most of their sleeping time in the hammock when it’s in their set up (I frequently have to kick them out so I can take the top off to feed them - they don’t want to leave). They also love the vertical climbing space of the ladder and the hanging pieces from that. I’m very happy with how sturdy it is, they’ve had it for a month now and have chewed on a few parts, but it’s holding up very well compared to some other products targeted at rodents - this one actually seems like it will last quite a while. Mouse and mouse mom approved!

Doesn't fit in the cage

I originally had a bigger cage that this fit nicely in and my three female mice loved climbing in and around it. After issues with the spacing in wiring, I had to switch to two Kaytee brand cages, which the hammock sadly doesn't fit in.

It’s all in the title. Don’t bother if you’re getting for a rat. The hammock-like piece is tiny.

Eh it’s alright

A lot smaller than I thought. It is also a real pain to clean. It really doesn’t do much for the cage,l and probably more for a smaller pet then a rat like it states.

Extremely small

This item is alot smaller than you would expect and definitely not worth the price. Bought it for my baby rats and it's even too small for them. Very unfortunate purchase

I got them two hammocks! Hopefully the other toys will keep them distracted enough not to chew on them!!!
