Doesn't work

Not only does this not work on my 2012 ford focus on the SIDE, it doesn't hook well enough out the trunk to keep my golden from sliding off. I liked the idea of a folding ramp tho.

I bought a ramp for my 90 lb 12 yr old lab who had a vet appt. She has the hip problem so she couldn't quite muster the ramp so needed to be lifted in and out of the vehicle--broke my heart. I contacted Chewy to see how to return it and they told me they would credit my account and to donate it. Well, sure enough, my account was credited in 24 hrs and I am in the process of trying to find the best place to donate it to. Looking at a rescue nearby for seniors and handicapped dogs but so far can't get a phone # to see if I can physically drop it off. But I will pay it forward---one way or another! Thanks Chewy, you're amazing and thanks for taking such good care of all our fur babies!!

Poorly executed idea

Great idea, however won't work if trying to get into the back door of my Acura MDX! Possibly only work for the back of an SUV or a Van! Flexes as dog walks up it...scarred my pooch!

less sturdy and more slippery than expected

Got this for our 14 year old Golden Retriever who has declining function in his back legs and hips. Unfortunately, his nails slipped on the surface of the ramp so he couldn't make it up it. And while I'm sure it would hold his weight and more, it jiggles when he steps on making him nervous and unwilling to walk down it. Bummed it didn't work out.

We have used this a few times and it has been sturdy for my 100 pound dog, but I agree with other reviews that the non slip surface is actually slippery. Will likely need to add something to it.

Life saver

The ramp has been so instrumental for Sammy, a 12 yrs old Golden Retriever, to safely go down 4 steps. His eye sight is not the same anymore and depth perception is very difficult for him, and in turn raises his anxiety. With help of the ramp he can easily overcome his obstacles and he is simple a happier dog again. We are so grateful.

Great for small suv

Needed it for my dog who has a hard time jumping, works great for my small suv. At first i thought it was too long but it works great for my 50lb bull terrier to go right onto the seat. Make sure to measure and be aware how wide/narrow it is. He was scared of it at first but after some treats and encouragement to go up it worked amazing! Make some room in the trunk or in the backseats though it is a bit big so be aware if you need the space.
