I used this product for a horse who kept getting hives, and was having some sort of skin discomfort. Also used for a dog who is always has dry itchy skin. Product

I used this product for a horse who kept getting hives, and was having some sort of skin discomfort. Also used for a dog who is always has dry itchy skin. Product has a nice smell ( non medicated scent) I used a curry comb to work it into the coat with ease. This does not get a bubbly, but has a nice lather for both horse and dog. I believe this product aided in my horses comfort levels.

I had started buying this at the vet many, many months ago, maybe even a year ago or more, and have spent tons of money to try to help my fur baby with his skin issues. Have tried so many things. He even has special food. The vet had said something like pyoderma and that I should give him a bath every two days or so with this stuff. When his skin gets bad that’s what I do. So glad Chewy had this big bottle!!! Woohoo!!!

I picked this medicated shampoo as I knew it would be beneficial to my horse and dogs. The scent is pleasant, reminiscent of the old Apple Pectin shampoo from the '80s. When using on my horse, I diluted it in a bucket with water, as continually squeezing into a sponge would've used up most of the shampoo on my very large horse! It left him with a super soft, and shiny coat.

I have a dog with sensitive and dry/flaky skin. I used TrizCHLOR 4 shampoo on her last weekend. I massaged it in during the bath and let it sit before rinsing. Even after just one bath, I noticed a significant difference. Her skin looked better and the flakes were much less noticeable. It smells nice too. This shampoo contains chlorhexidine (which is an antibacterial), so it is great not only for treating skin problems but also for regular maintenance. I will certainly use it regularly.

This shampoo helps a lot with his hot spots. It’s helped clear them up. Based on my research, I don’t use it every single day and will be limiting it to maybe once a week. This shampoo smells so good. The smell stays on my dog after he’s all rinsed and dried for a couple days. It also suds well and a lot goes a long way. Im a single woman with 3 big dogs so its impossible to get pictures during the action because I have to hold them down to do it!

Absolutely love the TrizCHLOR 4 Shampoo! It’s been a total game-changer for my three dogs. One of them has super sensitive skin and was constantly itchy, but this shampoo calmed everything down fast without drying out their coat. It’s medicated but still gentle, and it leaves their fur soft, shiny, and clean without a strong smell. I’ve been using it regularly and definitely notice less scratching and way healthier skin. If your pups deal with allergies, hot spots, or funky skin stuff, this stuff seriously works.

I followed the directions on the bottle and after drying Elmer was noticeably less itchy and therefore more comfortable. I would recommend this shampoo.
