MiconaHex+Triz is for use on dogs, cats, and horses.  Available as shampoo, spray conditioner, wipes, and mousse, it’s antimicrobial, antifungal, antibiofilm, and moisturizing. Indicated for conditions responsive to miconazole and/or chlorhexidine.

What is the difference between this and the TrizCHLOR 4HC? Wanting to use one that will clear up my dogs rash/hot spots (that are caused by allergies) without drying her skin out.

MiconaHex+Triz Shampoo is an antimicrobial, antifungal and moisturizing shampoo that treats topical fungal and bacterial skin infections and also contains ceramides to aid in moisturizing, repairing and restoring dry, damaged skin. TrizCHLOR 4HC Shampoo is an antimicrobial, antipruritic shampoo that is designed to kill bacteria, fungus, and viruses on the skin and also contains betaine to soothe your pets skin.

Wow! Is this shampoo thick. It lathers amazingly well. What I failed to notice when I purchased it is that it is a bit stronger than similar shampoos I've used in the past, including an RX one. I hope this means it'll work faster and better. I've only used it once so far, but here is hoping it really helps my girl Cherilee. Earlier this week, she went to the vet and got a Cytopoint injection because she was scratching and biting herself like crazy. He didn't seem to think her skin was infected though she clearly has yeast and strange bumps on her stomach, legs, and neck. Also she is terrified of men, and he couldn't do a full exam. He just told me to use a shampoo like this one. I am hoping it helps, particularly with the bumps so we can avoid another vet visit, but based on ingredients, I expect it'll cut down on the yeast and bacteria which will be very helpful for her in the least. The fragrance is not at all overpowering and quite pleasant. Cherilee seemed to enjoy the constant massaging while I let it stay on her skin for 5 minutes. Next time, the plan is to see if she'll tolerate it for the entire 10 because the longer she will let it stay on, the better.
