Was a little disappointed. When we opened it on Christmas, the circle disc that goes on top of the scratch post was not attached. My husband had to take time to get some screws and attach it to the post. We didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning it. The cats do love this scratching post!

We just set this up, and the kitties are instantly entranced. Unfortunately, buyer beware, the balls in the base are very loud. They're hard plastic against a hard surface, and because the base is mostly enclosed, it echoes, so it's pretty loud. Four stars because let me tell you, these cats are INTO IT. Mildly hard to screw together because the hole in the fabric wasn't perfectly lined up with the screw hole, but nothing a little wiggling couldn't fix.

My cats love this scratching post and use it a lot. I was disappointed to learn that there in no replacement post though. The post is sturdy as my cats like to sit on top of it and also play with the balls inside of the base. They have however scratched the jute off most of the top of the post and you can't even unscrew it and switch it around so the bottom could be used at the top for scratching. This is a shame because this is a good scratching toy

Very sturdy

Really love that the bottom is weighted so that the scratching post doesn’t tip when my cats are scratching. Extra bonus that the bottom is also a toy!

Cat immediately wanted to play. Never seen him excited for a toy. Even rolling over the base. I would have given 5 stars but the scratch post wobbles. The screw

Kitties love it but built a bit flimsy

I grabbed the top of the post and it came right off, exposing some staples. Our new kittens like to sit on top so we were just glad it didn’t break while they were

I grabbed the top of the post and it came right off, exposing some staples. Our new kittens like to sit on top so we were just glad it didn’t break while they were playing. Thankfully we’re crafty so my partner shaped a piece of wood and secured it in between the scratching post and the top. Other than that near miss, our adult cats and kittens absolutely LOVE THIS TOY!

The ball’s worth bells on the bottom

They love it. Problem was the top came off immediately and there were sharp staples sticking out the top dangerous to the kitty. I pulled them all out and hot glued
