Finally a stainless steel soiled litter container that does required proprietary bags! Well made and easy to move close to litter boxes to scoop de poop. I use the hinge for the locking lid to lift it close to the litter boxes. Ubbi provides a scoop with the container but IMO it takes ages for the clean litter to filter out. Luckily, I had a small one which filters quicker and still fits the opening. So far I am quite happy and contemplating buying another to have next to the other litter boxes we have.

I used to use the litter mate. After a while the smell stayed even after cleaning it. So far I can go a week (all I'm willing to go)before removing the waste. Plus

I used to use the litter mate. After a while the smell stayed even after cleaning it. So far I can go a week (all I'm willing to go)before removing the waste. Plus using normal bags. I can throw away regular garbage right along with the litter. Saves on having clutter, where you have limited room.

Nice simple construction

Although the seal is not air tight, we keep this in the garage and the odor is not overwhelming. I may place a scent disc in the pail, as I did not originally notice

Although the seal is not air tight, we keep this in the garage and the odor is not overwhelming. I may place a scent disc in the pail, as I did not originally notice that this is one of the features. I am sure this would help somewhat. We are using for waste collection for a small terrier and change the bag on trash night. More than adequate for the intended purpose.

I wanted to love it!

I wanted to love this product, especially given how expensive the refill bags for litter genie are, and I like how it looks. It does the job, but nothing (and I

I wanted to love this product, especially given how expensive the refill bags for litter genie are, and I like how it looks. It does the job, but nothing (and I do mean nothing) can prepare you for the waft of concentrated litter waste odor when you open the top (and that’s even with me bagging the litter waste in dog poop bags before putting it in the pail!!). You can clean it, you can air it out, you can put baking soda (or laundry scent beads or the Ubbi scented disks etc etc) in it. I’ve tried it all, but the scent just never leaves the can. It’s so bad that if I’ve opened the top of the can in the last hour or so the smell lingers in my house, and it is horrendous when I have to change the bag. Maybe I would keep using it if I had access to a hose (or a power washer) and could clean it routinely that way, but that’s not feasible for me. Sorry Ubbi!
