Syringes are primarily used to administer insulin to dogs and cats.
Used sharps should be immediately placed in a sharps disposal container. FDA-cleared sharps containers are generally available through pharmacies, medical supply companies, health care providers and online. These containers are made of puncture-resistant plastic with leak-resistant sides and bottom. They also have a tight fitting, puncture-resistant lid. If an FDA-cleared container is not available a heavy-duty plastic household container, such as a laundry detergent container can be used as an alternative.
Use according to your veterinarian's instructions.
Syringes should be kept out of the reach of children and pets.
These syringes are prescribed by your veterinarian in order to deliver insulin to your pet. Insulin syringes list volume as units. U-40 syringes are used to administer ProZinc insulin for cats. Make sure you are using the correct syringe for the insulin your pet needs. Incorrect syringe sizes will result in incorrect insulin dosing. Only your veterinarian can write a prescription for U-40 syringes.
The U-40 Syringe is a high quality, sterile, insulin syringe that is used to administer insulin to diabetic pets, primarily cats. It is primarily used to administer ProZinc insulin. Make sure your veterinarian teaches you how to give insulin injections properly prior to use. Different syringes are necessary for different types of insulin so make sure you are ordering the correct insulin syringe for your pet. U-40 syringes are available with a prescription from your veterinarian. Make sure you dispose of insulin syringes properly in a sharps container. Do not throw away in the regular trash.
Price and excellent product. Scout was recently diagnosed diabetic, his care is my number one priority. The syringes are his lifeline so it was a must to have a superior product - definitely meets that requirement. Price plus the 100 qty not only saves running to the vet after using up 3 packages has taken much of the stress away. I will be ordering again
Chewy has great service and good prices. They always work with you if there are any questions about your order and have always solved them to my satisfaction. I highly recommend them.
Chewy is so easy and great to use. I receive my orders quickly and they are very helpful when I call.
Did not have the insulin syringes that I've been using for Lexi, (my pet) and closet thing to them were these. More expensive, but I did buy 2 boxes as they informed me they did not know when the others would be in stock if ever.
I had no issues with the first box I received. The second box od needles looked significantly different. Different color endcap and the markings on the syringe looked different too. The issue is it's nearly impossible (and often actually impossible) to get the air bubbles out. I have given THOUSANDS of injections between two cats with diabetes and have never had this experience before. I end up wasting a ton of expensive insulin and needles. I expect better quality control with this brand.
I don’t usually use this brand, but thank God they were available so my dog Sadie could get her insulin.
Horribly dull needles. Can’t get the brand we used to get so ordered these. Terrible. We are all traumatized.
This is an effective, Fair priced alternative to the monoinject syringes. The mono inject syringes were out of stock, so these were the next best thing.
We have a diabetic dog along with other health problems,, chewy is always helpful filling our orders. Shipping is super fast !
We can always rely on Chewy for quick and friendly service and follow up!
