I have two tall cats, and a third pretty large (18 lb) male. The two males have a tendency to rise up as they urinate, occasionally causing puddling outside their extra litterbox. Many cats will refuse to use an enclosed litterbox because of the confinement. The translucent cover on this specific box has solved that issue nicely. No spatter, roomy enough for my 18-pound chonky boy, and a very sturdy base. My only issue was one broken snap- my CC inc to. Vbbbb. Vvsv holder (see photo) from FedEx dropping the carton when delivering.

I have had success with Van Ness litter boxes but, sadly, not this style. The latches that keep the top and bottom pieces together were not strong. When you would pick the box up by the handle, the bottom part would fall off. This meant two trips when it was time to sanitize the box. Then the latches started falling off. The most recent thing to happen was this morning while I was sanitizing the box, I found a large crack halfway across the width of the box rendering the box useless. The box is placed on a flat surface so I have no idea how this could have happened. Won't be buying this box again.

Poor quality, came cracked

I bought two xl and 1 one L of these covered litter boxes. They are not worth the $ to ship, let alone purchase. The plastic is brittle and thin, the “latches” do

I bought two xl and 1 one L of these covered litter boxes. They are not worth the $ to ship, let alone purchase. The plastic is brittle and thin, the “latches” do not hold the hood on or remain securely latched, the doors come off with the least pressure, which defeats the purpose of a cover. The poor fit will definitely cause any “high pee” to dribble straight through the seam and down the outside onto the floor, also defeating the purpose for which I bought them. One of the hoods on an XL box was cracked on arrival, also. Extremely disappointed and will not buy this brand again. Chewy shouldn’t even carry these.

Hello I ordered a covered litter box. I thought this would be a winner. The reality is it arrived fractured in one corner and jagged. One of the hinges that held the top nrokwn and unattached . The door broken off completely. The box was whofully weak. Protected inside by only brown paper. I just didnt see how anyone in packaging thought it would suffice. I so wanted a better letterbox. Im sorry chewy once again I received damaged goods I asked that I just get a refund

It was smaller than I thought, and the lid did not fit on very well. My cat passed away before she could use it much, so I cleaned it and gave it to Goodwill.

Finally, a big, deep litter box without any random cut outs that my big boy can get into and not pee over the side of! He likes to pee in the corners, and would always pee out the front because all of the other ones had a cut out in the front. We recycled the top, because he does not like an enclosure, but even only using half of it, the price is totally worth it!

We like and would recommend to anyone and translucent is extra nice if you have a cat with bad vision . Nice Blue color too. Handle on top was missing but no big
