With cats, it’s usually easier for people to allow them to lick a drop of gel off of the applicator. One drop is about the size of a chocolate chip, if that helps. Alternatively, you can rub the tip of the applicator along the gumline. This product is designed to bond to and spread over the cat’s teeth and gums on its own, which allows for more flexibility.

No Safety Seal, Not Safe to Use

I was shocked to find that this dental gel had no safety seal whatsoever. For a product that’s going into my cat’s mouth, this feels like a major oversight in quality

Whether it’s a manufacturer issue or a packaging problem, it's unacceptable. I won’t use it, and I definitely won’t buy it again until proper safety seals are in place. Chewy, please follow up with the brand about this.
