This shampoo and mode of application (spray) works great for thick curly coats and smells great for a very long time after bathing our two golden doodles. I spray it on their coat dry then add enough water to make a good lather, let it set for a few minutes, then rinse well. Excellent product!

It is very well packaged. It has a very sturdy nozzle which allows you to really dig into a coat. I can't say enough good things. If you have a furry dog and want to have a great product for bath time- this is it.

I have to say this product is great in regards of cleanliness, smell, rinsing and I do recommend. Once applied it was fantastic to spread out on the fur and get on to the skin. It rinsed off fantastic which I feel is often a problem with other shampoos as they are too thick and take forever to rinse out. The product cleaned the fur to a squeaking clean in no time and it amazed me. I only gave 4 start because the spray version was not my favorite option. Granted it already comes out as a foam and therefore it’s better to determine however you have a wet dog infront of you and then have to start spraying it on them. Definitely not an easy task if you are by yourself. That’s the only downsides. The scent is comparable to the groomer shampoo which I personally really like, and I also love that it’s not too intense at all. I do recommend if you can get over the spray part. For me the PRO’s definitely overweight the CON’s. Probably one of the best shampoos I had so far.

I really liked that this product comes out as a spray-on foam. It is very easy to use as you just spray it on your wet dog and since it's a foam, it stays where you spray it which results in much less waste and ease of getting the soap where you want/need it. It doesn't have a lot of suds but it does the job as far as cleaning. It has a fresh scent that reminds me a little of suntan lotion. My Sadie girl is an Aussie and has a very thick undercoat. She appreciated that I was able to finish the job faster due to the foam. Her coat was not super-shiny, however she was easier to brush out - less tangles than usual.

Great shampoo! Just didn't like the spray feature.

I used this for spot cleaning on my dog and I was pretty happy with it! He's a German Shepard mix with a long, thick coat which tends to hold soap in it REALLY well

I used this for spot cleaning on my dog and I was pretty happy with it! He's a German Shepard mix with a long, thick coat which tends to hold soap in it REALLY well. It takes forever to rinse him off! I think the FoamCare shampoo suds up really well and it smelled awesome. I liked that it didn't smell overpowering after rinsing - it was subtle and fairly neutral smelling. His fur was shiny and clean for sure! The only reason I knocked off one star was because I didn't find the spray function to make things easier for me. It was a bit slippery and honestly would have been easier if it was a pump instead of a spray, so I wouldn't have had to pick it up to use it (although it is small and pretty lightweight). As far as applying the shampoo, again, the spray didn't really make it easier than simply dumping some in my hand or right onto my dog. I think the sprayer is just an unnecessary feature, and a pump would be more convenient. Other than the design of the applicator, I think the shampoo itself is great.

Not sufficient for a giant breed dogs coat

I tried this product on my Newfoundland dog today after he swam in the lake. I was curious about the performance of a foaming spray shampoo on his long thick coat. I quickly used the entire bottle and still had a lot more dog to wash so the quantity wouldn't make buying this product worth while for me although the application was simple and it lathered up nicely. I wasn't a fan of the scent, reminded me to much of a restroom cleaner smell. It rinsed easily and the scent did not linger on the coat. I would not buy this product in the future as I would need approximately 3-4 bottles to wash my entire dog but for sometime with a smaller coated dog like a golden retriever it might be useful.

When we got our German Shepherd mix, we were warned about the nonstop shedding and the potential for her double coat to get matted. Bath time was always a struggle, as Ms. Casey hated how long it took to get fully wet. However, with this shampoo/conditioner spray, the process became much easier. The formula is specifically designed to penetrate denser coats, which seemed to minimize friction and made her more comfortable. Once I started the shower and got ready to scrub her, it felt like the job was done in no time! I am hoping with regular use, she enjoys bath time more and our floors stay cleaner, for longer. She smells fantastic and is barely shedding with each shake.
