  • Toothbrush that works for your dog.

    By on

This is a useful product. My Lab is very willing to have her teeth brushed, of course she really likes the poultry flavored toothpaste. Just be sure to rinse the brush carefully after each use. My dog is over 13 years old with clean healthy teeth and pleasant breath.

  • Cooper and Teddy gives this toothbrush eight paws up!

    By on

I bought two of these toothbrush's, one for mine and one for my son's Shetland Sheepdogs, Cooper and Teddy. Cooper is 2 yrs old and we use both ends. Teddy is 7 months old and my son uses the small end right now. The dogs are very receptive, especially my dog. Cooper comes running when he hears the toothbrush door open.

  • Our morning ritual <3

We groom our cats' faces with this over tea every morning, and sometimes again later too. I think it feels like a momma cat licking them, they seem to find it very comforting. Plus a well groomed face means less hairs falling into the eyes or contaminating the water bowl. The little end goes into the ear slightly for dealing with itchiness, and fits well between the whiskers and eyes or other precision work. The big end is great for the bigger areas. We hoped that after a few weeks of brushing along the jaw and cheek we'd be able to start sticking it in their mouth and eventually have a nice tooth brushing habit, but they just won't do that. We started when they were all adults. I think if you get them used to having their mouth cleaned as a baby that's the best way to do things. And dental care is important! Our vet wants to put them under every 2-5y for cleaning which is physically and emotionally stressful on the animal. So my advice is: get this for anyone you know who has a puppy or kitten, so they can develop good habits to keep teeth clean the easier, cheaper way! And if you have an adult pet, who knows, perhaps you can still convince them to tolerate a tooth brushing. If not it is a very nice grooming tool so there's nothing to lose. One more thing to add, about alternative products. Some have silicone bristles or there are even finger-cot ones that are all silicone and very small. A pet may decide that such items are fun to eat. I had to pull a figer-cot one out of our tabby's mouth, and he has never chewed on anything, even chew toys, so don't think you're safe just because your pet "isn't a chewer"- you never know. If you get a silicone brush, keep it in a secure location between uses! Better yet just get something plastic like this. … more

Haven't attempted this yet, brushing my dogs teeth is going to be a new thing for her, she is 10 yrs old, but this is still highly recommended by her Dr for her oral health as she also has a couple of other health issues

  • Basic But Does The Job

Good size for my large 66.5lbs puppy. It reaches far into his mouth so I get a chance to clean his back teeth. I would def. recommend. Better than those finger things.

  • Good for small breeds

This toothbrush has ahead on one side of it that works good for small breeds of dogs. The only change I’d make is for the handle to have a better grip

I love the two-sized bristles and the sturdiness of the brush itself, along with the nice long handle for hard to reach areas! I highly recommend!

  • Great toothbrush

    By on

This is a great toothbrush. I have a cat that's just a year old so he still has a small mouth. I was given at the vet which looked like a child's toothbrush and it seemed really difficult to brush his teeth because of the size of the brush. But with this dual sided toothbrush with a triangle shaped head and in two sizes makes it much easier to brush his teeth. I'm using the smaller side for him right now. He hates the brushing, but at least he likes the taste of the toothpaste I use

  • To large for a small dog

    By on

I bought this product because the brush I usually use was not available. It does not work for my 9lb. Maltese. Because of the long handle I can not get leverage to brush properly. It may work for a larger dog.
