We give our 55lb anxious staffy 1 1/2-2 of these in the morning and evening when we're out of town, going to the vet, or if we have guests and it really helps to take the edge off for her. She's less stressed and able to relax in situations that would be worrisome for her. It is so nice to have something like this that we can use occasionally to make her life so much easier.
I’ve had this bag for almost two months now and can not get any of my dogs to eat them. The smell of them is horrible! Which is why I’m assuming they won’t eat them. Also do not be confused these are NOT the same as Composure Pro that of which you purchase from your vets office. Would not recommend to anyone. I will definitely be donating these.
I purchased these calming vitamins for my 80lb, Lab/Pittie. I was hoping it would allow her to be calmer around other dogs. I only gave her three within a day and a half. She became very subdued way beyond clam. I will not order again. I will donate unused product to local animal rescue.
These were so helpful over the 4th of July LONG holiday weekend. Our guy is nervous at loud noises and this kept it manageable. I like that the dose can be increased as needed and you aren't overdoing it right at the start. Because he is still young and has impulse issues, we have been giving one of these to our guy daily - and more if needed.
Anubis is startled by loud noises and flashes of light, so south Florida in summer is an adventure to say the least. We've tried many calming chews and these work very well and taste great! He told me so.
It has a terrible smell when you open the bag. My dog wouldn't even touch these. They don't smell like they have any peanut butter in them
My vet recommended Composure for my dog after his brother died as he was anxious in the evening. I give Reno 1-2 tablets a day depending on if he is anxious or having difficulty breathing. The calming effect seems to happen in less than 30 minutes.
Our dogs enjoy these chews! Very helpful when you have a house project going on inside/outside with workers coming and going....give a chew to the dogs and their nervous excitement tones down a bit, so everyone can relax.
Recommended by our vet, these are the only calming treats out of the multiple brands we have tried that my picky dog will eat. They help his anxiety and nervous situations, but everyone should remember no calming treats are a miracle cure and are not made for super high stress and scared situations. That being said, they help him calm down after the situations where he is terrified like thunderstorms and jet planes but he still freaks out during and needs out attention to help him get through it. Again they work great for what they are intended for.
My dog a Jack Russell loves these and they have helped to keep him a little calmer, I will continue to use them.
