These seem to be okay. But they say soft and that is definitely not true for our bag. They are quite hard and for an older dog that is not good. It may be from batch to batch on these treats. Hopefully they will help!
My 6 month old Frenchie has only been on these for a few weeks but I know this brand Vetriscience is phenomenal. I get alot of my pups vitamins and supplements from Vetriscience. I highly recommend.
After purchasing and giving my dog a signal treat, I learned that they can actually do more damage than good for dogs with any heart issues. Glad I asked my doctor before continuing to give my dog these treats.
They smell really bad and I thought they would be softer. I even checked to make sure they hadn’t expired. My dog will not touch them
My dog refuses to eat this. Even with encouragement and when placed with her other food. She eagerly eats all the other supplements I buy from this brand just not this one. Sadly out 30$.
My dog tolerates them but they are not his favorite. He kinda of paws at it before he resigns to eating it. They are not chewy by any means, they are rock hard. When his normal supplement comes back in stock I will be switching back.
As others have mentioned, they are not soft, but they are not crunchy either. They are pretty hard. My little dog has trouble eating them. She only weighs 10 pounds so I only give her 1/3. But she struggles with even a piece that small. I am going to try to cut them up in even smaller pieces and put them in her dog food. If that doesn’t work, I will be contacting Chewy to see if I can return them. I think if she could chew them she would probably like them. She does not seem to mind the smell. I can tell that she wants to eat it, she just can’t chew it.
Maybe I received a stale/old bag, but these were not soft chews. They were so hard!
Our vet put our dog on a grain free diet after six months of straight diarrhea. Then 5 years later says that is bad for her heart. So then wanted to go with a hydrolyzed diet. Everything I read said that your dog should only be on hydrolyzed diet for 6-10 weeks so we went with this option. Not sure if it is helping, if she has a problem or not, but figured we needed to do something!
Our dog loves this! I placed my order and the next day it was delivered! Chewy is the best place to shop for all your pet's needs.
