  • Excellent food

    By on

I had been feeding this to my 2 dogs for a few years before buying it from Chewy. I learned about it first from a friend who had 5 elderly dogs whom she took in for bloodwork. She was told it came back excellent and that it must be the food. This is what she was feeding them. I immediately started feeding it to my dogs, They love it and seem to be very healthy. I was buying it locally 9 miles away. Chewy charges $2 more but it is worth it not to spend the time to pick it up. I have it on autoship. Btw, this food has a 5 star rating on Dog Food Advisor.

  • They love it

We had switched our dogs to a raw diet because earlier in the year (last year) we got our dog, Ajax, neutered. When they neutered him they gave him several shots and he was also on heartworm medication... Well he got sick! Started losing fur, his pink skin started turning black, his coat got short and rough and he had a couple bare skin patches. Needless to say we were VERY concerned. Started doing research, we are natural people as much as possible, and found that he had a yeast overgrowth from all the shots and heartworm pill. Started making homemade raw Dog food, for two months that's all they got and his bare skin patches filled in, skin turned pink AND he had this black for patch we thought We had switched our dogs to a raw diet because earlier in the year (last year) we got our dog, Ajax, neutered. So anyway, we needed to supplement with a dry dog food because raw is Super expensive when your feeding two 100lb dogs and we researched and found this... They absolutely love it, so far. It is still in the experimental stages, we are going to try it for a couple months and make sure he is still on the mend … more

  • New Puppy ....new food.

    By on

My breeder had me purchase this. All is well ! Did notice his bowel movements are as hard as rocks and you can break them in half and the inside are chalky. So bad or good...it does not stain our carpet as we are training him. But will look into to this more for nutritional pourposes. Was sent right on time. Chewy comes through again. Very Reliable Company on all the products I have purchased.

  • Good change

    By on

My 60 lb mixed Pit/ridgeback was not food driven before I changed to this. I was buying good stuff I think with Taste of the Wild. She would skip meals and getting a little slim. She loved the change in food and has already begun to fill out a little after being on it for 2 weeks. I’m so glad I switched and for the price it’s totally a better deal. I also like the 40 lb bag versus the typical 30. Less times to purchase is a plus.

  • doing great

    By on

My 1.5 year old Alaskan malamute is doing really well on this food. She's been on it for a few months, she's always had inconsistent stools and on this food they are average for her if not sometimes even better. Her coat looks great, her energy is perfect. She even had a skin condition that cleared up after switching to this food. She likes it so much we can use it as training treats too (she is not picky but jumps for joy at meal time). We're very happy with this!

    By on

After months , weeks , and hours of research to find the right dog food for my cane corso and boxer pups. victor was a hit . Not too much protein but more then enough. They devour it ! So glad I found it , only thing that sucks is our local farm store sells the 40 pound bag for $47 with tax already added. Its almost $51 bucks on here

  • Amazing Value!

    By on

I've had my 9 month old Cane Corso on Wellness large breed since I got her, and it's what my breeder used prior to that. She has never had anything but very soft stools, and at times bouts of diarrhea. I think the higher protein levels were just too much for her system. I purchased Victor, and began the transition with 1/2 and 1/2 ..and let me tell you I could tell a difference immediately. We're hooked at this house.

  • Dogs refused!

    By on

No matter how badly you want your dogs to eat a quality food, if they refused to eat it it doesn't do them any good. Both of my young border Collie's have refused to eat every Victor I have gotten them. Over the past year I have tried different varieties of Victor and ended up adding stuff to it to make them eat it. Not cost-effective.

  • Great food for a Puppy w/ food allergies

    By on

This is the first food that our chocolate lab can keep down and her fur is soft and shiny again. She’s doing great! Chewy offers this product $10 less per bag than any pet store around us. Thanks Victor for a great product and Chewy for a great price!

  • Super quality

    By on

I thought it won't be as good as the grain free formula but i was wrong. My dogs have better results with this formula than any other ive tried before . Small and hard stools, lot of energy and delicious. Unfortunately one of my dogs is growing too fast and gaining weight too quickly. So im gonna move this one to another formula. Ill keep the rest in this formula untill they are fully grown and need lest nutritional content My advice .if your dogs need high nutritional content and extra energy try this and forget is not grain free cause this is it in dog quality food . and grains are not from corn nor wheat.
