Is this fresh and mostly green or yellow like straw? Also, are there any groats?

This is mostly green with groats. It's fresh and very good quality. The only oat hay I get for my buns

Finally, a not alfalfa grass my bunny will eat

Ive tried several different grasses/hay for my bunny, and he turned his nose up at anything that wasn't alfalfa. He is living the oat hay from viking farmer tho

Hay hay

This oat hay is beautiful, this is my 3rd box. This box had a few alfalfa roots. Still the best. Thank you viking farmer. Thank you chewy for carrying it.

My rabbits were not fans of this hay. I have a bonded pair and a single, making three in total aging 4, 8, and 12 respectively. I have offered it to them several times and while they initially seem interested in the new option, they refuse to eat it even after several weeks of continuous introduction. The texture is very straw-like, being hard and almost hallow in some strands with fiber-like puffs on the end. It also did not have the scent that I'm used to from opening a box of hay, which is generally a very grassy-natural auroma. It had almost no scent at all. It was, however, packed very well. My rabbits might just be picky, but this product wasn't for us.

Great product, needs better packaging

Our rabbit enjoyed this hay very much; however the storage was challenging with the packaging. This would be great for someone with multiple rabbits, but too much

Bunny approved

My bunnies both seem to like this. I waited to do my review as I wanted to make sure they digested it well without any issues! They both seem to give it their stamp

Fresh and green

This hay is of great quality. It came super fresh and green. It has a wonderful fragrance that could be smelled through the closed box. My rabbit enjoys the hay

Quality hay

Nigel hasn't been loving his small pet select, he won't eat it now. He only wants viking farmers hay now. It's his wolrd, we just live in it.
