C.E.T. Fingerbrush with C.E.T. Tartar Control Toothpaste Packet; an ideal beginner toothbrush to help acquaint cats and their owners with the tooth brushing experience. Cat owners should use this packet for the first few days and then progress to using the C.E.T. Cat Toothbrush.
C.E.T. Cat Toothbrush is designed especially for feline mouths, which have very little room between their back teeth and cheeks. This toothbrush has long, soft bristles shaped into a pointed tuft. By placing just the tuft of the bristles between the cheek and the teeth, the back teeth can be brushed without causing discomfort. Great tasting seafood-flavored C.E.T. Tartar Control Toothpaste is ideal for cats that quickly build up plaque and tartar.

This works way better than I anticipated! I looked into toothbrushing after training my cat Fig to let me look at her teeth and noticing her gums were a little red (along with some strong breath). After 4 days using this her gums are looking a lot better and the bad breath is significantly reduced! Not only that but she likes it! I was really nervous to try brushing Fig‘s teeth - she‘s a rescue and can get pretty anxious and spicy when she feels out of control, but she doesn’t mind this brush very much at all. And she looooves the toothpaste flavor. Yesterday when I opened it she started audibly purring. I would definitely recommend this
I have a 12lb cat (with a proportionally sized head/mouth) and the finger brusher was much too big/bulky/awkward. The mini toothbrush did not work for my cat either, it's still pretty big for a cat, and despite the description stating it has soft bristles, I would say the bristles are closer to hard. I was pretty puzzled by this since cat gums are delicate and their teeth can be sensitive. I was confused as to why my vet recommended this product, however there are a number of positive reviews for it, so it probably just depends on your cat. I will say my cat liked the toothpaste taste, but he also just wanted to eat it, which in addition to the consistency seeming a little too thick/sticky, made it hard to actually try brush his teeth bc he just kept trying to move his head and tongue so he could lick it. For now I'm back to Japanese fabric cat teeth finger cover cleaners or gauze to gently clean my cat's teeth.
This is the best cat toothbrush that I've found. The finger one doesn't work for my cat, but the small toothbrush is the best shape to get into his mouth and ACTUALLY clean his teeth. The small size and shape makes brushing teeth a much more comfortable experience than the other toothbrushes I've tried. The toothpaste works well. My cat isn't food/flavor motivated so I can't say whether other cats would like the seafood flavor, but he doesn't object to the flavor. The only thing is you have to really rinse the toothbrush out really REALLY well so it doesn't get stiff and icky.
Finger brush too stiff for cat, but brushing helped.
They like the taste of the toothpaste but getting their teeth brushed is more work than its worth.
The toothbrush they sent is hard as a rock won't fit in my cats mouth terrible design,.dont know if ill use the toothpaste since i needed the brush
My 2 young cats have bad breath, tartar, red gums, even though they are babies. Vet recommended this kit. The kitties don't mind getting teeth brushed. They like the seafood toothpaste. I use the brush, not the finger brush which is too big for their mouths. It seems to help, breath is more pleasant and tartar, gums look better. Be patient and go slowly. There are many videos to watch before you start!
I look forward to having my teeth brushed and the brush is easy on my teeth. The finger thingey is a bit hard on my teeth. Otherwise, Yummy! Pax
This is the best toothbrush for cats, in my opinion. My cats try to chew the toothpaste off the bristles, essentially "brushing" their teeth themselves as they do it. It makes it easier for them to accept it. I wish they would sell these mini-brushes by themselves. The toothpaste is fine, but I would prefer to just buy a regular tube because these packets get messy really fast.
I gave it a three star because it looks like a good product but honestly I just have picky cats and they turn their noses up at the smell of the toothpaste or whatever it’s called. I can’t even use it because I don’t want to be chasing my cats all over just to brush their teeth. I kept the packaging and everything but I don’t think returning it is an option because of the Coronavirus. I don’t have it but who wants to potentially mail germs in case I do have it? Hopefully all this ends soon but its not looking too good right now. Be safe everyone.
