How many calories in each petite chew? Chewy says that it's 63 calories per kg. I weighed a chew and it's about 10 or so grams so each chew would be less than 1 calorie. The reply to another question states that it's 30 calories per chew.

Virbac C.E.T. HEXtra Dental Chews for Dogs is not treated with formaldehyde. The Chews are a single-layer rawhide chew that has abrasive cleaning action plus chlorhexidine gluconate, which helps remove the plaque. The hides are sourced from North American cattle, and they are baked not tanned. There are also no quaternary ammonium compounds in HEXtra Chews.

These dental chews are for adult dogs. You may give your puppy C.E.T.® VEGGIEDENT® Chews for Dogs when they begin eating their solid food with ease. We recommend closely monitoring to ensure they are chewing the product and not swallowing it whole.

Dental chews variable thickness

Some of the chews are too thick for my dog to chew. Unfortunately I cannot always make him happy with the thickness. Wish all piece were meany for a 20 lb dog

Stick contain beef hide-

Not sure it’s safe for my dog as rawhides are not advised to be given because it could cause a blockage. Is this chew the same as rawhide?

have used for years

I have used these dental chews for years with all of my small dogs. For awhile I think they changed to a solid piece of rawhide and my dogs did not like that. But

I have used these dental chews for years with all of my small dogs. For awhile I think they changed to a solid piece of rawhide and my dogs did not like that. But I found they have changed back to the the original design. I give it to my pups about an hr. before bed every night. All of them have loved them and it does seem to help to keep breath fresher. However, I still try to brush their teeth with the Virbac C.E.T. Enzymatic toothpaste.
