what is the difference between the hextra and the enzymatic?

C.E.T. Enzymatic Oral Hygiene Chews feature an exclusive Dual-Enzyme System, plus a coarse texture that works with the dog’s chewing action to reduce plaque and calculus. C.E.T. HEXTRA Premium Chews are made using the unique and proprietary binding-releasing system to ensure maximal release of chlorhexidine, which helps reduce plaque and calculus. Activity resulting from chlorhexidine release may be evident for up to 24 hours.
May be silly, but are these intended to be swallowed once chewed? I read some unfavorable feedback that they get too soft and the dog swallows the chew. I use these sparingly with my 15lb dog, but I don’t take it away - I let him chew it up and eat it. Is this wrong?

These chews are edible. The oral hygiene benefit can only be achieved by adequate chewing action. Gulping whole chews will reduce the chew's efficacy. Ensure your dog receives the right-sized product for their body weight and limit giving the chews to times when you are able to observe your dog.

Not for my pup with sensitive tummy

Not sure why but when I give this to my pup with a sensitive tummy, it seems to upset her stomach and she doesn’t eat her food like she usually does. I’m not sure if it’s upsetting her tummy or just too many calories and she’s not hungry. Either way, it’s disrupting her usual eating schedule and I have to give her tummy supplements to get her to eat. My other dog, bigger and no digestion issues loves the bigger ones. He looks forward to this daily treat.

Mdog needed surgery - ingredients has rawhide

Do not buy. My dog had a blockage from this. Vet found in duodenum between (stomach and small intestine). These are not safe. The stick piece in the picture is the product. Dog exhibited vomiting for three days. Surgery was the only way to remove as it would never pass. Brush your dogs teeth instead. Do not buy this product.

Dog teeth cleaning treats

I have two dogs, the one I thought would eat this would not. So it was not a good product for my dogs. They are very fussy about their treats, probably because I make most of them at home. My friend's dog loves these, which is why I tried them. So maybe you should go by her dog....LOL

Good size for my 12-pound dog. She is super picky about food and she loves these chews, they occupy her for a bit of time too.

Pretty Good

Our mom bought these for us and she uses them as treats. My sister Maddie and I liked them, and they did make our breath smell better. Our little sister Sommer, does not like them at all and won't eat them. My mom said she'd like to know more about how they work, why they work, and whether they are safe for us.

Disappointed!!

the chews for the x-small dogs are NOT the same kind as the ones for small dogs. It is the same brand and the picture appears the same but they are not!! They more like a cookie.
