keet treat sticks
my birds go berserk over these & strip them-there are 4 parakeets and they dive bomb these
Not Much Substance
I can't find my usual brand of honey stick so I tried these. It's basically a thin layer of seeds glued to a stick. My birds barely touched them before looking at me like I was a horrible owner for switching them to these, or at least trying to. The brand/kind I've always used are thick, easier to mount in the cage, and are loved by my birds.
You're getting Better
The treats are outstanding; my birds really enjoy them. Problem is we've been ordering parakeet treats for almost a year now. These treats are made for birds to pick seeds off a stick. Most orders received are damaged (I.e. seeds are broken off the stick), and birds do not like loose seeds.
Broken off the sticks
My parakeets like these, but the seeds were almost all completely off the sticks when they arrived. I can still give them to my birds in their food bowls, but that sorta defeats the purpose of giving it to them on the sticks where they seem to enjoy eating them off the sticks. Won’t order these from Chewys again.
BIRD TREATS
Unless the bird treats are packed tightly the seeds fall off the sticks as the box is moved around. Ordered separate from previous orders as treats just thrown in box. Even ordered separately treats just thrown in a box and seeds fall off treat stick.
What they like
My parakeets eat these every time- I pour the pieces left in the package on their seeds. I like they can be hung on the cage - stays clean
Badly damaged
Unfortunately I am going to stop ordering them. I'll just buy them at the store. Everytime I get them they are crushed, there is nothing left on the sticks. It's all loose inside the bag. The birds love them when they hang, so both of the parakeets can eat them at the same time. They fight if it's in a cup.

My parakeet loves these sticks! She will leave the stick empty within a couple of days. Would definitely purchase again.
