I recently got these for my parakeet to try and oh my god do they love it! Not only do they love eating it but it also provides great enrichment. I haven't tried popping it in the microwave so I can't say anything on that end. Though since they love it unpopped I don't really worry about that. I would definitely recommend trying it once since the price isn't high.

My parakeets really love them. My only trouble is to keep them from falling down whatever I hold them in. It’s something Howe they eat them so evenly. Better than people (:
