    Horrible Hay

    By on

I ordered 1 bag of this product for my rabbits to try out. Chewy accidentally sent 6 bags instead of 1 though. All 10 of my rabbits hate this hay!. My buns love, and have been used to, softer types of hay. Unfortunately, because of Covid, and the time of yr, I am having a harder time finding softer hay. This product definitely wasn't it though. The pieces of hay are hard, some bags looked to have a lot of brown dried pieces in them. The hay is also harder to get out of the bag and in blocks that are bent in shape to fit in the bag. I am now stuck with not just 1 bag, but 6 bags, of a product that I have no use for. I'm probably going to have to just use the hay as bedding for my outdoor rabbits I ordered 1 bag of this product for my rabbits to try out. Chewy accidentally sent 6 bags instead of 1 though. chinchillas love this!

    By on

Love that’s in comes in two little “bales” and pulls apart in flakes. Makes it less messy. Our chinchillas eat this well. It looks to be good quality and fresh. Great price too!

My pigs actually prefer this hay to more expensive brands we have tried. Would definitely recommend for the price!

    Guinea pig approved

Bought for my 2 female guinea pigs. I was buying Oxbow every time but I needed something a little more budget friendly this time around. My pigs love this hay! It is very grassy and green and good.

Good but very dusty and broken

we love this, but this bag had a ton of dust and lots of crumbs. Most the hay was very short and in small pieces. But we will get this again

    They love it

Our 2 guinea pigs went wild when we opened this fresh, aromatic nag of hay from Vitakraft. They squeal with delight when fed this product.

I have gotten this bag of hay a few times and it was always green and soft. This time around it was super hard and yellow

    least favorite hay

    By on Top 250 Contributor

Although I thought the hay looked nice and was truly quality my pigs would have to disagree. They barely touched this stuff and they've never shown any disinterest in hay before.
