It works like magic, pigs love it

By kiiingboog on Jan 17, 2021

My 2 boars (skinny pigs) had very dry skin, and they were always scratching. Coconut oil, and this special lotion I bought especially made for guinea pigs made their skin worse to the point where my youngest was clawing his skin open. I’ve been using oxbow skin & coat for about 2 weeks now, and I see less irritation, more shine, and no more clawing. I highly recommend this product. At first my pigs didn’t like the tablets, but with consistency, they are trained to know that after their nighttime snack they get their “treat”.

    Not for rats

By JesR on Sep 9, 2020

It's a common problem that small mammal food is considered ok for all small mammals, so it's partially my fault for not checking the ingredients before purchasing. It's just super disappointing that I now have useless treats. I don't understand how we can know soooo much about rat digestion, and yet rabbit/guinea pig food is constantly recommended for them. Rats don't need grass, hay, etc. Stop marketing grass based treats to small mammals who don't need it!

    This Vitamin Saved My Piggy

By Marly on Jun 20, 2020

My teddy guinea pig has very coarse fur and dry skin (common for teddy pigs). During the summer (I live in Arizona) he gets even dryer skin. I have been giving him this vitamin for a month now and he doesn't scratch anymore and his ears aren't so dry and his fur is fluffier and softer. It really works. Plus, he loves how they taste and is very excited every day to take his vitamin.

    Surprisingly tasty!

    By bunmama2 on Apr 20, 2020

These supplements must be very tasty since both my rabbits eat it right away like a treat. The other Oxbow Science supplements sit in their bowl as last resort, but this one they love :)

    Great for fur shedding season

By Bubba on Feb 14, 2020

My bunny loves this cookie and it is not as hard as the other Oxbow animal supplement cookies. I would give him once a day while he was shedding. My bunny sheds every two and half months so this definitely keeps his coat shinning. He loves eating it and would eat the whole bag if left to himself.
