What’s the shelf life?

We recommend refrigerating the wild Alaskan salmon oil to extend its shelf life by avoiding direct sunlight, heat, and moisture exposure. If stored correctly, the salmon oil can last up to 4-6 months, but we always recommend smelling the salmon oil if you suspect it has gone bad. If it smells extra fishy or extra rancid, it might be bad.

One pump (1/2 teaspoon or 2.5ml) has about 2.3 grams of fat and 20 calories. There are also approximately 212 mg of EPA and 233 mg of DHA per pump (1/2 teaspoon) for a total of 445 mg of Omega 3.

I have 5 pets. I wanted something that was safe for all my pets, a variety of cats and dogs. I live somewhere that it gets very cold and very dry in the winters. I noticed one cat has irritated skin and dryness around the nipple area in the tummy. Two others had bad dandruff from being so dry. Thought I’d try this stuff. It healed my cats tummy. No more dandruff on any pets. Nice shiny and healthy coats and skin. Plus one of pets struggled with dry cracked nose. I had tried everything to get rid of this, nothing helped. I was not expecting this to heal her nose, but it did. Wow! This stuff is amazing, all my pets like the taste and now no more dry skin, dandruff or cracked nose. I did follow the instructions on the QR code they sent and had no issues. Best of all my pets don’t smell like fish! Ordered more for a family member with a pet with hotspots. Highly recommend.

I’ve been using this oil for my senior rescue dog for months. She came to me with a shaved coat because she had a very matted coat. Her nose was dry and cracked. She was a Pom/corgi mix. Using the oil in her food brought out a soft fluffy coat and a moist nose and maintained them. It really worked! Wish the bottle had a better pump so oil would not leak. I stopped using the included pumps. Used it over a year before she passed from old age.

My vet informed me that most Salmon oils have Pollock added, therefore your pet isn’t getting all of the nutrients, and Omegas that they need. This Salmon oil is the BOMB! I really believe she was asking for the oil because as soon as I pumped it on her food she stopped staring and started eating. As far as benefits I can’t really say there are visible ones but I know it is good for her so that’s what matters to me. I simply love the pump. I used to buy a different brand and omg it was a mess in my fridge and hands. Also the smell is not that strong. My husband would have complained by now if it was.
