Where is this product made?

This recipe is made in the USA. Wellness ingredients are primarily sourced from North America. WellPet has one of the most strict sourcing criteria of any pet food manufacturer. All ingredient suppliers, whether domestic or international, need to meet certified nutrient levels and be manufactured in quality audited facilities. While there are many high quality ingredients available in the U.S., in some cases there is not a readily available U.S. supply. For example, the Venison, Lamb, Rabbit and Salmon Meal are sourced internationally from New Zealand, Australia, Italy and Chile respectively. WellPet feels that they have the appropriate quality programs in place at all their vendor locations and feel safe and secure with all the ingredients they source, whether they are sourced locally or globally.

Wellness is my go #1 pick to for kitties. I order the big cans because they’re much more economical and I foster so I use a lot. Shipping packaging has been an overall issue. It seems there’s no consistency to which cases get the protective box cover and how they’re placed in the box which often results in dented cans. Thankfully chewy issued credit for the dented cans!

I don’t know what happened but I thoroughly am convinced that something is not quite right that suddenly happened with this food. Not only did my cat stop liking it, it made him sick. As soon as I went back to another food he was fine. I then retested giving it to him and bang diarrhea again. He never had a problem before with this food before . I sent it back to chewy and they were cooperative about it but let’s face it sometimes there are bad batches and it’s super important to let chewy know. Cats can’t speak but they sure will let you know when something is off.

Better ingredients, cheaper in volume

Wet food is better than dry, and this is better than Friskies, but a little cheaper when you buy in volume. I just add a little water and stir it up for the cat

Appreciate the larger can size

At first, my cats weren't quite sure about this flavor, but after the second time, it seemed to grow on them. I really love that I can get this food (carageenan-free)

I really love that I can get this food (carageenan-free) in a larger can size, which works perfectly for the three cats we have eating this (one can per day). I also get the beef & chicken flavor in this size.
