  • Poor quality control

This is what I found his morning when I opened a can ... a big sloshing mess. (This is supposed to be a firm pate.). Totally fed up with the pet food industry and am now seriously considering making my own cat food. This is repulsive. Very, very disappointed with Merrick.

I found a sick and injured 4 week old kitten on the side of the road. After nursing him back to health, he started eating this food when he was about 6 weeks old. He LOVES it! To keep him company, I recently adopted 2 more kittens from a shelter.... they LOVE it as well. They are healthy, happy kittens with beautiful coats. I highly recommend this food!

  • Very Clean and Good Quality Kitten Food

I ordered this for my new 4-month old kitten upon the recommendations of other Chewy customers' reviews. It's a quality food; no sign of "by-products" and my little guy likes it. I alternate between wet/dry.

  • They love it and I love the ingredients

My 8 week old kitten loves this in combination with Wellness dry kitten food. We had no problem switching her from her old food (Meow Mix, bleah). I love knowing I'm feeding her healthy food instead of the terrible grocery store options. I highly recommend

Kittens really like this one. The didn't care for the Wellness CORE kitten formula however. Stick with this one for your little ones instead.

  • they love it, I love it, our vet loves it

Our kittens were introduced to this around 4-5 weeks of age. They had a ferral mother and due to unfortunate circumstances ended up in our life too early to be without her. The man who was taking care of them before us had them on some garbage $0.20 adult cat food from a grocery store - they were NOT looking good... We switched to this as they showed interest in consuming wet foods (especially our 12 y.o boy's food lol), and let me tell you. Just after one week of this food they were rapidly gaining weight and filling out, their eyes were bright, they were having regular bowel movements and they loved it. So many good veggies and you can even see them in the paté. I mix in a little water just Our kittens were introduced to this around 4-5 weeks of age. Showed it to my vet they said it was a good choice and if they loved it to keep with it - no use in switching again to cause bowel stress. … more

It is taking some time for my cats to get used to this food, but they're coming along. I think it's worth trying to get them to like it.

My 2 Maine Coon kitties like it a lot. They prefer the minced chicken one but will keep them on this kitten formula until at least 6 months.
