Will this topper work ok with adding some water to her dry kibble and this on top?

Yes! I use this and dry kibble and add water every day! I also add canned green beans (with no salt) to keep my pugs’ weight maintained!

Why does this have green tea extract in it and does that mean there is a caffeine content?!

The green tea extract is used as a natural preservative. Wellness ingredients are listed from greatest to least. As this may contain caffeine it is used very minimally and therefore the amount would be like a drop in a swimming pool.

Spoiled both my dogs...

My dogs have loved this topper. I like also that it makes a nice rich looking sauce when I add water and stir it around. I put the kibble in the bowl, tails wagging,

My dogs have loved this topper. I like also that it makes a nice rich looking sauce when I add water and stir it around. I put the kibble in the bowl, tails wagging, but they won't eat their high quality kibble without this! When I ask them if they want toppers, get the bag and shake it a little, that's when the tails go on hyperdrive. There's just one little nugget they both single out for not eating, the whitest one...but there are very few of these in the mix. I think it's celery. Otherwise it's a sure win.

I have been using the "shredded toppers" when she started losing interest in the dry kibble. Then she kind of lost interest in the toppers as well. I thought I would try this just for fun, and lo and behold, she loves it!! It's only a teaspoon sprinkled over the kibble, and she gobbles it right down. There is nothing left in her bowl after dinner!

Easy, convenient

I buy these for my basset hound to add to his food when he's at the local boarding facility when we travel. They charge a $5 a day refrigeration fee for wet food

I buy these for my basset hound to add to his food when he's at the local boarding facility when we travel. They charge a $5 a day refrigeration fee for wet food to be added to his kibble. This works great as it does not need to be refrigerated and he likes it.
