Is this made in USA ?
Answer by ChewyJan 20, 2021
This recipe is made in the USA. Ingredients are primarily sourced from North America. All ingredient suppliers, whether domestic or international, need to meet certified nutrient levels and be manufactured in quality audited facilities. A small portion of the mixed tocopherols and green tea extract are sourced from China. These ingredients are part of the natural preservative in the food and are less than 1% of total ingredients. Each ingredient is fully tested and inspected for quality and safety before it goes into any of the diets.

Mixed Results

One of our dogs was having very loose stool, so we got this for him. Sadly, it did not help at all - in fact, it maybe worsened the issue even after very gradually switching fully to it. (In the end, switching him to a generic high-tier kibble from a large retailer cured his soft stool. I wanted to use quotes, but for some dumb reason Chewys review platform does not allow them.) However, this kibble did not seem to impact our other dog digestive health either way, so I would call this pretty mediocre.

Best food ever

1 year old lab with very sensitive stomach. Could not find anything that could help him until I tried this. Have not had any issues and he tool to it immediately. Will never change. Finally.

great food - solid poops

My dogs both have sensitive stomachs and loose stool but since switching to this they both have had solid poops for a year now! They love the food!

best food for my dog

My 1 year old GSD mix does great on this food. We had to switch him when his last food started upsetting his belly. Every new treat gave him the runs. We used to have to add pumpkin and probiotics to every meal just to make him have normal poops- this food completely eliminated that! He eats this twice a day mixed with wet food and his belly has been perfect ever since. His coat is shiny and he is full of more energy than ever. I love the ingredients and the high protein content. We can give him all kinds of treats and he never has issues anymore. Highly recommend if your dog has digestive issues like mine did! It is pricey, but well worth it.

Doggone Great!

My dog has some digestive issues and this was recommended to us by our veterinarian. Ever since making the change we've had zero issues. I cannot say enough good things about this food. We even moved our senior furbaby to their formula and she's been acting so much younger ever since.

Still not sure

Not seeing a difference. Lots of crumbs in bag. Already got next auto ship so will give a little longer. My grey does gobble it down.

Did the recipe change?? Did I get a bad batch??

Just got a new bag of this food. My dog is picky (ish) and has a pretty sensitive stomach. This bag of food looks different. The color of the food is more red and I can see chunks of ingredients within each piece. My dog will not eat this food now, and I don’t know what changed. He used to love this food! I’m very sad, as this is the best food for him I have found. He isn’t sick, still has an appetite for treats and meat, but we have to beg him to eat this now. Please help me figure out why!

Dogs like it

Both dogs like it compared to the last one which the mini Australian Shepherd would barely eat and the formula to help their digestion is helping a lot

I love Wellness, but not this dog food

The diarrhea my dog got from this upset her system so much she had to go on Flagyl and then Forti-Flora for a month. I love Wellness dog food and was hopefully this would help my dog since it seems like she is getting more sensitive digestion as she gets older. It just didn’t work for her.
