Hello! My puppy seems to need an awful lot of fiber in his diet, vet had me increase his pumpkin powder to almost 5000mg/day. How much pumpkin is used in your formula? I think I may still need to add some. Thank you!

According to the recommendations on this bag of food, I should feed my dog 3 cups of food per day. How long would this bag last, feeding 3 cups per day?
Answer by ChewyJul 03, 2019
The bag of Stella’s Solutions, like all Stella & Chewy’s products, is packaged by weight. The actual number of cups can vary. On average, this bag contains approximately 10 cups of food. This means, if feeding 3 cups per day, the bag would last just over 3 days.

I’ve been feeding my finicky eater your Rabbit patties, and, after showing enthusiasm, she has started turning her nose up to her food & only eating one serving every other day; if i start feeding her these beef bits, must I do the usual transitioning from the rabbit to this?
Answer by ChewyJul 02, 2020
If it is the first time your dog is being introduced to a new protein, it is recommended at least a 3 to 4 day transition to ensure minimal digestive upset. As long as your dog handles transition and rotating proteins well, you should be able to freely rotate through the different protein options after the initial introductory transition.

Is this considered a low calorie food?
Answer by ChewyJul 13, 2021
This recipe contains approximately 50 calories per 1/4 cup. Please consult with your veterinarian to ensure this value is suitable for your pet.
