Wellness ingredients are primarily sourced from North America. WellPet has one of the most strict sourcing criteria of any pet food manufacturer. All ingredient suppliers, whether domestic or international, need to meet certified nutrient levels and be manufactured in quality audited facilities. While there are many high-quality ingredients available in the U.S., in some cases there is not a readily available U.S. supply. For example, Venison, Lamb, Rabbit and Salmon Meal are sourced internationally from New Zealand, Australia, Italy and Chile respectively.

Great for Picky Cats

I have three cats and one is extremely picky and it is very hard to find food that he will eat. I put this in front of him expecting him to turn his nose up and walk away but he loved it and licked his bowl clean. He loves both flavors and I will happily buy it again.

Smells Delicious !

It can take Schmiddle a while to warm up to a new cat food & he took his time with this one but now he is gobbling it up. He has no teeth so this soft moist food is very easy for him to eat. He's pretty finicky & has tried so many kinds of cat food & many he never agrees to eat more than a morsel of. Fortunately little goes to waste as our local alley cat likes all kinds of leftovers.

Wellness Core Digestive Health Turkey Pate Recipe

My 13 yr old cat was throwing up canned cat food with small cubes. He doesn't chew his food very well. His vet suggested I feed him digestive health or food for sensitive stomachs. Then my 9 yr old cat who rarely throws up, threw up the same cubed canned food in the middle of the night. I gave away what was left of my cubed canned food to the local SPCA & bought this food. Both cats are eating it and liking it. They have been eating Digestive Health Salmon already and liked it so I added the Digestive Health Turkey Pate and Chicken Pate . So far so good.

Great food

I have a very finicky cat when it comes to food. He loves the salmon and turkey flavors, but not the whitefish flavor. He was recently diagnosed with pancreatitus so this is our new food. Doing well after being on this food 2 weeks now, no throwing up which is great and fur feels really soft.

Wellness Core Digestive Turkey Pate

My cat did not want anything to do with this. I tried to mix it with other wet food I knew they would eat - refused to eat it. I even went so far as to mix it with cat nip that I know they love - refused to eat it. On the other hand, my family's other cat LOVES it. Just goes to show you that to each is own. I would recommend to try to get one can to try out before purchasing a whole case of it. I am disappointed that my cat would not eat this as I know this is high quality food that they need for their health. Thankfully, this did not go to waste as I was able to use the opened food that my cat would not eat for the family's cat that LOVES it as well as giving the case away.

She really likes it

I try to give my cat sensitive stomach and Grain free foods. We tried the variety pack with the chicken and turkey first. She heartily declined the chicken, but she does like the turkey. I'm glad I could find the turkey separate and so is she!

A big No Go

Left a review for the ocean fish flavor of this as well. Both my cats won't go near this stuff. whitefish nor turkey. I had to give both to the shelter down the street. It looks like a great product but my cats vomiting foam after eating it doesn't make it a good product by me or them. So much for my thinking this new wellness product would be great.
