Some eat it and some do not.

The pieces of this food are tiny, and some of my fur babies do not like the tiny pieces so the just leave them on the floor. My two younger girls (were feral kittens)

The pieces of this food are tiny, and some of my fur babies do not like the tiny pieces so the just leave them on the floor. My two younger girls (were feral kittens) who are both long haired with their giant fluffy tails eat it so I'm hoping it will help them with hairballs, we will see.

Cats won't eat it

I like the Wellness Core brand and have never had a problem until now. My one cat has such an appetite that I thought he had hyperthyroidism, but he doesn't. I

I like the Wellness Core brand and have never had a problem until now. My one cat has such an appetite that I thought he had hyperthyroidism, but he doesn't. I tried this food to add more fiber to his diet to make it more filling and due to my other cat having some hairballs. They seemed to like it fine at first but after only a few days refused to eat it. These cats typically sit and stare at the automatic feeder, waiting for it to drop their food so they can go chow down, so I was shocked to see them completely ignore it. I dumped it out and replaced it with the Ziwi Peake steamed and dried food they were eating, and they both went right over to the bowls and started eating. When I read reviews where people said their cats wouldn't eat it, I didn't think it would be true for these two piggies, but it was.

Cats are not convinced this is better than Meow Mix.

My male cat has urinary tract problems, but he has to eat some dry food for bulk. Wellness changed the formula of the Core dry food I was giving the cats and they won't eat it anymore (dog likes it so I didn't have to throw it away). I had to switch to Meow Mix temporarily until I found this fishless (yea !) Wellness Core substitute. Unfortunately, in the meantime they became enamored with the junk food Meow Mix and now my female cat refuses to eat the healthy dry food, which I am pretty sure is safe. Am only giving the replacement Wellness Core dry food an average rating at this time.
