swear by laxatone for hairball relief!
We rescue and foster many cats and have to say, laxatone is the only hairball remedy I swear by. Nothing else works like laxatone. Not only that, but have also had laxatone help with constipation as well. We have 6 cats and then a rotation of fosters. About half of them like this maple flavour, and will lick it straight from the tube like a treat. The other half won’t do that and for those cats we squeeze out like about an inch strip and smear it on their paw or leg. They’re annoyed but instinctually groom it off without much fuss. Though they don’t all like this flavour, they don’t hate it which is the experience I’ve had with the more traditional flavours.
Falls right off
I normally buy this brand in the green tube. I thought I would try this one since it has the Omega’s in it, but it is too thin and slides right off their paw. Even after keeping it in the fridge!
Great for reducing hairballs!
My cat has somewhat wiry fur, and he needs regular laxatone to keep hairballs from becoming a big problem. The Tomlyn gel works really well. I don't have to mix it in my cat's food, I just put a bit in his dish and he licks it right up. Some cats may be picky about flavors, so try a different flavor if your cat doesn't like this one.

My cat likes this maple flavor more than any other flavor he’s had. Absolutely begs for it.
Laxatone for Cats
I don't know why but it did not work, other than maybe the CHICKEN flavor ,that no one seems to be able to get a hold of, has something to do with why it didn't work on my cat! Always did before but they don't like that Maple flavor!
Declined by all
All nine cats (4 feral, 3 domesticated ferals, two indoor/outdoor) refused to even try it; one sniff and they walked away. I'm not sure why Tomlyn chose maple flavor, but it seems strange to think cats might like it.
HAIRBALL HELPER
CATS LIKE THE CHICKEN FLAVOR BETTER BUT HAD BEEN OUT OF STOCK FOR A LONG TIME. HAVE TO TRICK THEM TO LICK IT OFF.
Cat hates it
Will not be buying this product again. You should make a malt flavor not maple. Also consistency could be a little thicker
