The amount of food your dog requires depends on age, activity level, breed and environment. Always provide access to clean, fresh water.
When fed alone to Adults: feed 1 - 1 1/4 cans per 8 lbs of body weight per day.
For puppies: up to twice Adult amount.
For combination feeding: reduce dry by 1/3 cup for every 1/2 can wet.
The best way to transition onto a new food is to gradually introduce the food by mixing it with the old diet. Mixing the food will allow the dog to acclimate to the new taste and not overindulge on the new food.

Very good food
By Susie on Mar 27, 2021 top500Contributor
I first tried this brand because it is highly recommended by the Dog Food Advisor. However, I didn't pay attention and ordered the non-stew kind. Forget what it's called. It's ground and packed so tightly that it's hard to get out of the can, and it's yukky in my opinion. Reminded me of being in second grade and trying to eat paste. The stew type that I ordered the second time is perfect. Just the right consistency, rated one of the best nutritionally, and my dogs love it. I recommend it.

Happy Staffy
By Trixie on Jan 8, 2021
After issues with a previously-favored brand, I bought a case of Wellness Turkey Stew for my picky AmStaff to try. Not only did she enjoy it, but she didn't suffer any of the reflux issues she seems to deal with after breakfast. Since then we've tried different flavors to "mix it up": so far the Turkey & Duck seems to be her favorite (followed by Turkey and Lamb & Beef). We highly recommend.

Consistently great
By VMBL on Dec 13, 2020
We started using Wellness canned food with dry kibble we feed our 13 year old harrier mix when a close friend brought over his (now 15 year old) Lab to stay while he traveled. He always brought the dog’s food, toys, bed, meds, etc. It was always Wellness canned food. That started 2 dogs ago for us. The only thing we changed was we went from the all turkey to the turkey and duck stew. Our Henry loves it even more.

dogs love it!
By icabod on Aug 14, 2020
I have only fed wellness products for 8 years as breeder of my pup recommended. Love the pull tabs and chunky consistency of food. Easy to get out. All 3 of my German Shepherd Dogs love the flavor. Like the Beef, Turkey, Chicken, also! Chewy auto delivery is great! Good prices and dependable service. No worrying if store will have supplies!

Not for my pups
By DogMom on Aug 26, 2020
My 2 senior standard poodles both developed diarrhea as soon as started & lasted several days even after stopped. I did introduce slowly & used small amounts for only “dressing” on top of dry food. Will be a nice treat for our local rescue pups!

Our resident senior who refuses breakfast regularly if he doesn’t love the wet food ate this heartily and asked for more!

GREAT FOOD
By Barb on Jul 9, 2020
I have been using Wellness Turkey and Duck Grain Free for about three years for my two senior girls with good luck. They love the food and it is low in fat which is good for them since we need to keep their weight steady, both have health problems.

Damaged Cans
By Damage on May 7, 2020
We use Chewy all the time for our dry food and decided to try with the wet food. However, this is the second delivery in a row that we have had several damaged cans amounting all totaled in about a dozen cans through 7 cases in 2 different deliveries. Highly disappointed.

My pups seem to like it
By LKPRmom on Jul 5, 2020
My pups are ready and waiting for breakfast when I bring out the cans. They seem to like this food. I also did research and they seem like a very reputable brand with healthy ingredients.
