8 Cats 3 MaineCoons 5 m 9 m 2 yr Ds/mH 13yr 13 yr 3yr 2yr 2yr None of them will eat this. We are working so HARD to move away from Kibble and FF gravy / primavera and eat better quality food. They just starve themselves. I have tried everything, every little trick in the book. So much money literally down the drain. I will be returning this and the Lotus we bought on a different order :( Personally I think it more unhealthy to stress them out with food changes however slight. My kitties now give me this look. What is she giving us now. So I feed them fancy feast. Then they are happy silly fun loving kitties once again. Yep the kitty krack food makes them sing for joy. I have joined a FB group to help us on our journey. We are not giving up.
My cat is in very early stages of Kidney disease. Before I go full use of Prescription foods (like Royal Canin which are low in protein but contain grains and other additive) I am trying to keep the cat on "lower protein" versions of grain free brands. This item is 7% protein (same as Royal Canin Kidney) instead of the usual 10-12% in most cat foods. There are other brands (Wellness, Beyond) that have one or two selections of 7% protein. It's just a start and hope to keep him on a healthier grain free diet for a while
I fed a packet of this food to my two cats for the first time last week, and they slurped it up with delight. I haven't seen them react like that to wet cat food in a long time! My only complaint is that it can be a bit difficult to get every last morsel out of the bottom of the packet, but it's well worth the effort: it won't go to waste.
I have very picky cats and keep buying different foods hoping to find what they’ll eat. Unfortunately this isn’t it. They’re not interested in it at all. The search continues.
Super glad these come in a variety pack so my cat could try all the flavors. He only liked the Charge Me Up flavor a couple times and hasn't touched it since. It's really helpful that Weurva sells variety packs and also packs in smaller quantities since my cat is extremely picky. After trying 18 flavors we found 2 he likes and I am thankful for that! Glad the phosphorous and protein levels are on the lower side due to his CKD.
